### Enable debug logging and stack traces in .env

Source: https://econumo.com/docs/self-hosting/debug

Set ECONUMO_LOG_LEVEL=debug and ECONUMO_DEBUG=true in your .env file to get more detail and stack traces in 500 responses. Restart the container to apply. Keep ECONUMO_DEBUG off (default) on public instances to avoid exposing internals.

```dotenv
# in your .env
ECONUMO_LOG_LEVEL=debug
ECONUMO_DEBUG=true
```

### Currency management commands

Source: https://econumo.com/docs/self-hosting/cli-commands

Currency management commands: add a currency with code, optional name, and optional fraction digits, and load exchange rates from Open Exchange Rates (optional date, defaults to today). See Multi-Currency Support for the full setup including the OPEN_EXCHANGE_RATES_TOKEN variable.

```bash
# Add a currency: code, optional name, optional fraction digits
docker compose exec econumo /app/econumo currency:add EUR Euro 2
# Load exchange rates from Open Exchange Rates (optional date, defaults to today)
```

--------------------------------

### Add a currency with currency:add

Source: https://econumo.com/docs/self-hosting/multi-currency

### Simple file copy backup

Source: https://econumo.com/docs/self-hosting/backups

Stops the Econumo container, copies the SQLite database file to the current directory with a date suffix, then restarts the container. Replace 'econumo_db' with the actual volume name.

```bash
docker compose stop econumo
docker run --rm -v econumo_db:/data -v "$PWD":/backup alpine \
  cp /data/db.sqlite /backup/db-$(date +%F).sqlite
docker compose start econumo
```
