### Build laravel-package CLI from source

Source: https://github.com/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-package-cli/blob/main/README.md

Clones the repository, installs dependencies, and builds the CLI binary locally. Use this when you want to build from source instead of installing globally.

```bash
git clone https://github.com/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-package-cli.git
cd laravel-package-cli
composer install
php laravel-package app:build laravel-package
```

--------------------------------

### Install laravel-package-cli globally with Composer

Source: https://github.com/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-package-cli/blob/main/README.md

Installs the CLI globally via Composer. Requires PHP 8.2+ and Git.

```bash
composer global require jeffersongoncalves/laravel-package-cli
```

--------------------------------

### Full create command with all options combined

Source: https://github.com/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-package-cli/blob/main/README.md

Full invocation combining all available options: custom path, namespace, keywords, dependencies, author, email, no-git, and dry-run. Demonstrates the complete command syntax for the create command.

```bash
laravel-package create jeffersongoncalves/laravel-cep "Brazilian CEP lookup for Laravel" \
  --path=/d/PROJETOS/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-cep \
  --namespace="JeffersonGoncalves\Cep" \
  --keywords="laravel,cep,correios" \
  --require="illuminate/http:^12.0|^13.0" \
  --author="Jefferson Gonçalves" \
  --email=jeffersongoncalves@gmail.com \
  --no-git \
  --dry-run
```

--------------------------------

### Preview package creation with --dry-run

Source: https://github.com/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-package-cli/blob/main/README.md

Previews what would be created without writing any files. Use to verify the scaffold output before actually generating it.

```bash
laravel-package create jeffersongoncalves/laravel-cep "Brazilian CEP lookup for Laravel" --dry-run
```

--------------------------------

### Usage syntax for laravel-package create

Source: https://github.com/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-package-cli/blob/main/README.md

Shows the general usage syntax for the create command. The vendor/package argument is required and split on '/' to derive vendor, package, namespace, Service Provider name, Facade name, and config filename.

```bash
laravel-package create vendor/package [description] [options]
```

--------------------------------

### Create package with description

Source: https://github.com/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-package-cli/blob/main/README.md

Creates a package with default settings. Author/email are taken from git config and the package is written to ./laravel-cep.

```bash
laravel-package create jeffersongoncalves/laravel-cep "Brazilian CEP (postal code) lookup for Laravel"
```

--------------------------------

### Create package with explicit namespace, keywords, and dependencies

Source: https://github.com/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-package-cli/blob/main/README.md

Creates a package with explicit namespace casing, keywords, and dependencies. The --namespace flag overrides the shared namespace file for one-off cases; --require accepts a comma-separated list of package:constraint pairs.

```bash
laravel-package create jeffersongoncalves/laravel-posthog "PHP/Laravel client for the PostHog API" \
  --namespace="JeffersonGoncalves\PostHog" \
  --keywords="laravel,posthog,analytics,feature-flags" \
  --require="illuminate/http:^12.0|^13.0,illuminate/support:^12.0|^13.0"
```

--------------------------------

### Create package with custom target directory

Source: https://github.com/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-package-cli/blob/main/README.md

Creates a package in a custom target directory specified with --path.

```bash
laravel-package create jeffersongoncalves/laravel-cep "Brazilian CEP lookup for Laravel" --path=/d/PROJETOS/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-cep
```

--------------------------------

### Create package without git repository using --no-git

Source: https://github.com/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-package-cli/blob/main/README.md

Scaffolds package files only, without initializing a git repository. Useful when dropping into an already-initialized repo.

```bash
laravel-package create jeffersongoncalves/laravel-cep "Brazilian CEP lookup for Laravel" --no-git
```

--------------------------------

### Create package without description

Source: https://github.com/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-package-cli/blob/main/README.md

Creates a package without a description. The description is left blank in composer.json and README.

```bash
laravel-package create jeffersongoncalves/laravel-cep
```

--------------------------------

### Create package with explicit author and email

Source: https://github.com/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-package-cli/blob/main/README.md

Creates a package with explicit author and email, overriding git config. Useful for CI or when using a different identity.

```bash
laravel-package create jeffersongoncalves/laravel-cep "Brazilian CEP lookup for Laravel" \
  --author="Jefferson Gonçalves" \
  --email=jeffersongoncalves@gmail.com
```

--------------------------------

### Run tests with composer test

Source: https://github.com/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-package-cli/blob/main/README.md

Runs the test suite for this Laravel package. Use this command in the project root to execute all tests defined in the package.

```bash
composer test
```

--------------------------------

### Configure vendor namespace overrides in ~/.package/vendornamespace.json

Source: https://github.com/jeffersongoncalves/laravel-package-cli/blob/main/README.md

Maps package vendor slugs to their desired namespace casing. Entries are looked up per whole slug, case-insensitively; unlisted slugs fall back to studly casing. This file is shared with filament-plugin-cli and is read from ~/.package/vendornamespace.json.

```json
{
    "jeffersongoncalves": "JeffersonGoncalves",
    "posthog": "PostHog"
}
```
