### Bootstrap a new project with a project brief

Source: https://github.com/ychamel/reporesident/blob/master/README.md

Use this prompt to start a new project with RepoResident. It triggers the bootstrap workflow that verifies the project setup, records the initial architecture and commands, and prepares the repository for normal work. For a new project, bootstrap replaces the template README with the project's own README.

```text
Bootstrap this project.
Goal: <what the project should achieve>
Stack: <languages and frameworks>
Constraints: <important technical or product requirements>
```

### Adopt an existing repository with RepoResident

Source: https://github.com/ychamel/reporesident/blob/master/README.md

To adopt an existing project, copy these items into the repository root and then ask the coding agent to bootstrap. The agent inspects the existing project, verifies its commands, builds the initial map, and records only facts supported by the repository.

```text
CLAUDE.md
AGENTS.md
.agent/
```

```text
Bootstrap: adopt this repository.
```

### Validate changes with git diff --check and git status --short

Source: https://github.com/ychamel/reporesident/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md

Run these commands before opening a pull request to check for whitespace errors and show the working tree status.

```bash
git diff --check
git status --short
```

--------------------------------

### ReproResident request flow

Source: https://github.com/ychamel/reporesident/blob/master/README.md

Shows the high-level flow of how RepoResident processes a request, from routing through to a durable project record.

```text
request
  -> task routing
  -> current project state
  -> targeted project knowledge
  -> task-specific workflow
  -> verification and review
  -> durable project record
```
