### Default Plugin Hook Configuration

Source: https://github.com/xxyoudeadpunkxx/canon-boundary-guard-codex/blob/main/README.md

This JSON defines the default hook configuration for the plugin, specifying a 'PreToolUse' hook that executes a Python script for provenance frame injection.

```json
{
  "hooks": {
    "PreToolUse": [
      {
        "matcher": "apply_patch|Write|Edit",
        "hooks": [
          {
            "type": "command",
            "timeout": 5,
            "statusMessage": "Provenance frame"
```toml
[features]
hooks = true
plugin_hooks = true
```
### Fallback System Message for Missing Frame File
Source: https://github.com/xxyoudeadpunkxx/canon-boundary-guard-codex/blob/main/README.md
This text message is emitted by the hook script when the reference frame file is missing, indicating degraded provenance protection without blocking execution.
```txt
Canon Boundary Guard frame missing: provenance protection degraded.
```
--------------------------------
