```
--------------------------------
### Handle 'Cancelled' Errors During Installation
Source: https://github.com/xingkongliang/skills-manager/blob/main/_autodocs/errors.md
This example demonstrates how to handle a 'cancelled' error when attempting to cancel an installation. It checks the return value of `cancelInstall` to confirm cancellation and inform the user.
```typescript
try {
  const cancelled = await api.cancelInstall(installKey);
  if (cancelled) {
    toast.info("Installation cancelled.");
  }
} catch (error) {
  // already cancelled
}
```
--------------------------------
### Install a skill from Git
Source: https://github.com/xingkongliang/skills-manager/blob/main/_autodocs/README.md
Installs a skill from a Git repository. It first previews the available skills and then confirms the installation, requiring the repository URL, temporary directory, and a list of skills to install.
```typescript
// Preview first
const preview = await api.previewGitInstall("https://github.com/user/skills.git");
console.log(`Found ${preview.skills.length} skills`);

// Select and confirm
await api.confirmGitInstall(
  "https://github.com/user/skills.git",
  preview.temp_dir,
  preview.skills.map(s => ({ rel_path: s.rel_path, name: s.name }))
);
```
--------------------------------
### Install Skills from Local Folder
//    - getManagedSkills()
//    - getPresets()
//    - getSettings("text_size") → applyTextSize()
// 3. useMultiSelect is initialized per page that needs multi-select
### useTheme Hook
Source: https://github.com/xingkongliang/skills-manager/blob/main/_autodocs/api-reference/hooks.md
Manages application theme (light/dark/system) with persistent storage and live updates. It provides the current theme, a function to set the theme, and the resolved theme based on system preferences.
```APIDOC
## useTheme Hook

### Description
Manages application theme (light/dark/system) with persistent storage and live updates. It provides the current theme, a function to set the theme, and the resolved theme based on system preferences.

### Signature
```typescript
function useTheme(): {
  theme: Theme;
  setTheme: (next: Theme) => void;
  resolvedTheme: ResolvedTheme;
}
```

### Types
```typescript
type Theme = "light" | "dark" | "system";
type ResolvedTheme = "light" | "dark";
```

### Return Value
| Field | Type | Description |
|-------|------|-------------|
| theme | Theme | User's chosen theme: "light", "dark", or "system". |
| setTheme | (next: Theme) => void | Updates theme and persists to settings. |
| resolvedTheme | ResolvedTheme | The effective theme ("light" or "dark"), accounting for "system" preference. |

### Example
```typescript
import { useTheme } from "./hooks/useTheme";
export function ThemeSelector() {
  const { theme, setTheme, resolvedTheme } = useTheme();
  return (
    <div>
      <p>Current resolved theme: {resolvedTheme}</p>
      <button onClick={() => setTheme("light")}>Light</button>
      <button onClick={() => setTheme("dark")}>Dark</button>
      <button onClick={() => setTheme("system")}>System</button>
      <p>Active: {theme}</p>
    </div>
  );
}
```

### Behavior
- **Initialization:** Reads from localStorage (key: "theme"), then fetches from Tauri settings; defaults to "dark".
- **Persistence:** Theme is saved to both localStorage and Tauri settings when changed via `setTheme`.
- **System mode:** When theme is "system", the hook listens to `prefers-color-scheme` media query changes and updates `resolvedTheme` reactively.
- **DOM class:** Automatically adds/removes the "dark" class to the document root (`<html>`).
- **File scope:** Uses a storage key "theme" internally (not user-configurable).
```
--------------------------------
    <App />
  </StrictMode>
);
```
