### Installing Air for Go Development

Source: https://github.com/xbapps/xbvr/blob/master/README.md

This command installs the 'air' tool, a live-reloading command-line utility for Go applications. It is a prerequisite for the development setup, enabling automatic recompilation and restart of the Go server upon file changes.

```bash
go install github.com/cosmtrek/air@latest
```

### Starting XBVR Development Server

Source: https://github.com/xbapps/xbvr/blob/master/README.md

This command initiates the development server for XBVR using Yarn. It activates file watchers that provide live-reloading capabilities for both Go backend and JavaScript frontend components, streamlining the development workflow.

```bash
yarn dev
```

### Resetting Body Margin and Padding in CSS

Source: https://github.com/xbapps/xbvr/blob/master/ui/public/api.html

This CSS snippet targets the `body` element to set its `margin` and `padding` to `0`. This is a common practice to remove default browser spacing, providing a consistent starting point for page layout across different browsers.

```CSS
body { margin: 0; padding: 0; }
```

### Running XBVR Docker Container

Source: https://github.com/xbapps/xbvr/blob/master/README.md

This command runs the XBVR application as a Docker container. It sets up network host mode, ensures the container restarts automatically, and mounts local video and configuration directories into the container. Replace '/path/to/your/videos' with your actual video directory.

```bash
docker run -t --name=xbvr --net=host --restart=always \
   --mount type=bind,source=/path/to/your/videos,target=/videos \
   --mount source=xbvr-config,target=/root/.config/ \
   ghcr.io/xbapps/xbvr:latest
```

### Browsing XBVR Database with sqlite-web

Source: https://github.com/xbapps/xbvr/blob/master/README.md

This command launches 'sqlite-web', a web-based SQLite database browser, to inspect the XBVR application's main database file. It provides a convenient interface for viewing and managing the database contents within the Gitpod environment.

```bash
sqlite_web /home/gitpod/.config/xbvr/main.db
```
