Source: https://github.com/wybert/earthengine-dataset-catalog-md/blob/main/docs/FAO_WAPOR_2_L1_RET_E.md

This example loads the first image from the FAO/WAPOR/2/L1_RET_E collection, sets the map center, and adds the image to the map with a visualization range of 0 to 100. It is intended for use in the Earth Engine Code Editor.

```JavaScript
var coll = ee.ImageCollection('FAO/WAPOR/2/L1_RET_E');
var image = coll.first();
Map.setCenter(17.5, 20, 3);
Map.addLayer(image, {min: 0, max: 100});
```

```Python
dataset = ee.ImageCollection('LANDSAT/LC08/C02/T1_L2').filterDate(
  '2021-05-01', '2021-06-01'
)
# Applies scaling factors.
  optical_bands = image.select('SR_B.').multiply(0.0000275).add(-0.2)
  thermal_bands = image.select('ST_B.*').multiply(0.00341802).add(149.0)
  return image.addBands(optical_bands, None, True).addBands(
    thermal_bands, None, True
  )
dataset = dataset.map(apply_scale_factors)
visualization = {
  'bands': ['SR_B4', 'SR_B3', 'SR_B2'],
  'min': 0.0,
  'max': 0.3,
}
m = geemap.Map()
m.set_center(-114.2579, 38.9275, 8)
Loads the first image from the ESA/WorldCover/v100 ImageCollection and displays it with the 'Map' band using geemap. Requires the Python setup imports.
```Python
dataset = ee.ImageCollection('ESA/WorldCover/v100').first()
visualization = {
  'bands': ['Map'],
}
m = geemap.Map()
m.center_object(dataset)
m.add_layer(dataset, visualization, 'Landcover')
