### Resolve Python Package Permission Denied Errors

Source: https://github.com/willow1000/securehaven/blob/main/README.md

When encountering 'Permission denied' errors during package installation on Linux, use these commands to install packages either with user-specific permissions or system-wide using sudo.

```bash
pip install --user [package-name]
```

```bash
sudo pip install [package-name]
```

### Manual Recovery Steps for SecureHaven

Source: https://github.com/willow1000/securehaven/blob/main/README.md

These steps outline the manual process to recover the vault by cloning the Git repository, navigating to the production directory, and running the main application. Users will need to provide their master password and answer security questions.

```bash
git clone [your-repo-url]
```

```bash
cd [repository-name]/production
```

```python
python password_vault.py
```

### Verify Git Repository URL and Access Permissions

Source: https://github.com/willow1000/securehaven/blob/main/README.md

This command helps diagnose 'Repository not found' errors by checking if the Git repository URL is correct and if the current user has access permissions to it.

```bash
git ls-remote [repository-url]
```

--------------------------------

### Execute Python Backup Recovery Script

Source: https://github.com/willow1000/securehaven/blob/main/README.md

This command initiates the automatic backup recovery process. The script will locate the encrypted backup, prompt for a retrieval password, and restore files to the 'production1/' directory, followed by an integrity check.

```python
python backup_recovery.py
```

### Configure Git Safe Directory

Source: https://github.com/willow1000/securehaven/blob/main/README.md

Adds a specified directory to Git's global safe directories list, preventing 'unsafe repository' errors. This is crucial for managing Git repositories located in non-standard or untrusted paths.

```git
git config --global --add safe.directory [vault-directory]
```

### Update SecureHaven Master Password

Source: https://github.com/willow1000/securehaven/blob/main/README.md

It is critical to change the hardcoded default master password before first use. This snippet demonstrates how to update the 'PASSWORD' variable in the script to a secure, unique value.

```python
PASSWORD = "YourSecureMasterPasswordHere123!"
```
