### Install and Activate Ultimate Performance Power Profile

Source: https://winutil.christitus.com/dev/tweaks/performance-plans/removeultperf

Use this script to install and activate the 'ChrisTitus - Ultimate Power Plan'. It first checks if the plan already exists or if the High Performance plan GUID is present. If not, it restores default schemes, duplicates the High Performance plan, renames it, adjusts specific power settings for AC power, and then activates it. It provides feedback on success or failure.

```powershell
function Invoke-WPFUltimatePerformance {
    param(
        [switch]$Do
    )
    if ($Do) {
        if (-not (powercfg /list | Select-String "ChrisTitus - Ultimate Power Plan")) {
                    Write-Host "Failed to restore High Performance plan. Default plans do not include high performance. If you are on a laptop, do NOT use High Performance or Ultimate Performance plans." -ForegroundColor Red
### Configure and Start Windows Update Services
Source: https://winutil.christitus.com/dev/features/fixes/update
Sets the startup type to Manual for BITS, wuauserv, and CryptSvc, then starts these services. For AppIDSvc, which is protected, it modifies the registry to set its startup type to Manual before starting it.
```powershell
Get-Service BITS | Set-Service -StartupType Manual -PassThru | Start-Service
Get-Service wuauserv | Set-Service -StartupType Manual -PassThru | Start-Service
```
```powershell
Set-ItemProperty -Path "HKLM:\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\AppIDSvc" -Name "Start" -Value "3" # Manual
Start-Service AppIDSvc
```
```powershell
Get-Service CryptSvc | Set-Service -StartupType Manual -PassThru | Start-Service
