### Use <br> to separate image from text

Source: https://wiki.sp-tushonka.com/Style_Guide

This example shows how to use the `<br>` tag to add vertical space between an image and preceding text. The first image lacks the `<br>` and sits directly against the text; the second image uses `<br>` to create a gap. The images are left-aligned with a width of 200 pixels.

```html
Here is an image without the use of `<br>`:
<img src="/mod-install-v1.gif" alt="image title" width=200 style="display: block; margin: 0 left;">
Notice how the top text is right against the image.
<br>
<img src="/mod-install-v1.gif" alt="image title" width=200 style="display: block; margin: 0 left;">
And this image, with the use of `<br>` has space above between it and the text.
### Markdown header sizes with usage notes
Source: https://wiki.sp-tushonka.com/Style_Guide
Shows all six Markdown header sizes with usage notes. The largest is for 'See also' sections, the second largest for section headings, and the third for separating larger lists. The fourth and smaller are too small for headings.
```markdown
# Largest heading
Useful for the "See also" section. If a section on a page could use this header size, consider making it a separate page instead.

## Second largest
The perfect size for section headings. All headings on this page use this size.

### Third largest
To separate larger lists which might required external linking to. Use instead of ordered/unordered lists.

#### Forth largest
It's too small to work as a heading. Same applies for the two smaller headings.

##### Fifth largest

###### Sixth largest
```
### Markdown external link syntax
Source: https://wiki.sp-tushonka.com/Style_Guide
Basic Markdown syntax for creating an external link. Replace 'clickable word' with the display text and 'website url' with the target URL.
```markdown
[clickable word](website url)
```
### Markdown header for new pages
Source: https://wiki.sp-tushonka.com/how_to_contribute
Required YAML front matter for new pages. The file must have the .md extension and include this header at the beginning. Only the title and description fields need to be edited; date and dateCreated should be updated to the page's creation date but are not strictly necessary.
```markdown
---
title: title
description: summary
published: true
date: 2025-10-12T12:00:00.000Z
tags:
editor: markdown
dateCreated: 2025-10-12T12:00:00.000Z
---
```
### SPT version disclaimer
Source: https://wiki.sp-tushonka.com/Style_Guide
Place this disclaimer at the top of a page to indicate the SPT version it applies to. Replace `4.0` with the appropriate version, or use `This page applies to any SPT version` if it applies to all versions.
```markdown
> This page applies to SPT version `4.0`
{.is-info}
```
