### Install and render VibeUpdate component

Source: https://vibeupdate.app/docs

Install the VibeUpdate SDK and render the component in your Expo root layout. The SDK checks after first render and fails open on network errors, never delaying your app.

```markup
npm install @vibelabsdotto/vibeupdate
<VibeUpdate appId="app_xxx" />
```

### Import and use VibeUpdate in Expo root layout

Source: https://vibeupdate.app/docs/installation

Import the VibeUpdate component from '@vibelabsdotto/vibeupdate' and render it inside the root layout alongside the Slot component. The appId prop should be set to your application ID from the dashboard.

```jsx
import { VibeUpdate } from '@vibelabsdotto/vibeupdate';
export default function RootLayout() {
  return <>
    <Slot />
    <VibeUpdate appId="app_xxx" />
  </>;
}
```

### VibeUpdate MCP Server Configuration

Source: https://vibeupdate.app/docs/mcp-setup

Use this JSON to configure the VibeUpdate MCP server with Streamable HTTP. The endpoint is https://api.vibeupdate.app/mcp and requires an Agent Token as bearer authorization. The stable protocol version is 2025-11-25; no local stdio bridge or legacy HTTP+SSE endpoint is needed.

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "vibeupdate": {
      "url": "https://api.vibeupdate.app/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer vbu_…" }
    }
  }
}
