### Cloud App Installation - Technical Details

Source: https://www.vertec.com/de-ch/kb/appportal

Details the technical steps during the Cloud App installation, including Windows version checks, .NET Framework installation, directory creation for the app and configuration files, and placement of the VertecReport.dotm template.

```text
Installer prüft die Windows Version.
Falls noch kein .NET Framework vorhanden ist, wird es installiert. Das benötigt ebenfalls Administratorenrechte, ist jedoch seit Windows 8 standardmässig bereits installiert.
Unter %localappdata%\Vertec Cloud App wird ein Unterordner für den Server-Namen angelegt, von dem aus die Installation erfolgt. Die Cloud App und das dazugehörige **Vertec.ini-File** werden dort abgelegt. Der Name des Unterordners bildet sich aufgrund des Server-Namens. Dadurch können verschiedene Cloud Apps von verschiedenen Servern auf einem Client installiert werden. Das ist besonders nützlich, wenn mit der Cloud App Zugriff auf mehrere Vertec Instanzen benötigt wird, wie beispielsweise auf eine Testumgebung.
Die Datei `VertecReport.dotm` wird ebenfalls abgelegt, um die Generierung der Legacy Word-Berichte zu ermöglichen.
```

### Create New Project and Copy Settings in Vertec

Source: https://www.vertec.com/de-ch/kb/projektkopieren

This `main` function iterates through a list of projects, prompts the user for a new project code, creates a new project object, and copies settings from the source project using `copyProjectSettings`. It also includes logic to copy project phases recursively if they exist.

```python
def main(projectlist):
    for Vprojekt in projectlist:
        projektcode = vtcapp.inputbox('Vertec','Geben Sie den Code des neuen Projekts an','')
        if projektcode:
            # Erzeuge das neue Projekt
            projekt = vtcapp.createobject("Projekt")
            projekt.code = projektcode
            # Projekteinstellungen übernehmen
            copyProjectSettings(Vprojekt, projekt)
            # Phasen kopieren, falls vorhanden
            if Vprojekt.eval("allephasen.list->size>0"):
                PhasenStufe1 = Vprojekt.phasen
                for vorlagePhase in PhasenStufe1:
                    newPhase = copyPhase(vorlagePhase, vorlagePhase.parentphase, projekt)
                    copySubPhasen(vorlagePhase, newPhase, projekt)
            # Stichwörter übernehmen
```

--------------------------------
