### VADER sentiment analysis demo script

Source: https://vadersentiment.readthedocs.io/en/latest/pages/code_and_example.html

Runs a demo that analyzes a list of sentences with VADER's SentimentIntensityAnalyzer. The sentences cover positive, negation, punctuation, booster words, ALLCAPS, emoticons, slang, and mixed sentiment. The script prints each sentence with its polarity scores. Requires the vaderSentiment package; import may need adjustment depending on installation method.

```python
from vaderSentiment.vaderSentiment import SentimentIntensityAnalyzer
#note: depending on how you installed (e.g., using source code download versus pip install), you may need to import like this:
#from vaderSentiment import SentimentIntensityAnalyzer
# --- examples -------
sentences = ["VADER is smart, handsome, and funny.",      # positive sentence example
            "VADER is not smart, handsome, nor funny.",   # negation sentence example
            "VADER is smart, handsome, and funny!",       # punctuation emphasis handled correctly (sentiment intensity adjusted)
