### Omit IP from ThirstyAffiliates Click Tracking (PHP)

Source: https://thirstyaffiliates.com/docs/how-to-omit-ips-from-click-tracking

This PHP code snippet uses the 'ta_filter_before_save_click' filter to prevent clicks from specific IP addresses from being tracked. It checks if the visitor's IP address starts with a defined pattern and sets a flag to skip saving the click if it matches. Ensure you replace the example IP range with your desired values.

```php
add_filter('ta_filter_before_save_click', function ($skip) { $ip = isset($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']) ? $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] : ''; if ($ip && preg_match('/^107\.178\./', $ip)) { $skip = true; } return $skip; });
```

This PHP code snippet uses the 'ta_filter_before_save_click' filter to prevent clicks from specific IP address ranges from being tracked. It checks the visitor's IP address against a predefined pattern and sets a flag to skip saving the click if it matches. Ensure you replace the example IP prefix with your desired range. This requires the Code Snippets plugin to be installed and activated.

```php
add_filter('ta_filter_before_save_click', function ($skip) {
    $ip = isset($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']) ? $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] : '';
    if ($ip && preg_match('/^107\.178\./', $ip)) {
        $skip = true;
    }
    return $skip;
});
### PHP: ThirstyAffiliates Cloudflare IP Compatibility for Stats
Source: https://thirstyaffiliates.com/docs/how-to-track-geo-ip-stats-when-cloudflare-is-enabled
This PHP snippet modifies the 'ta_get_user_ip_address' filter to correctly capture the user's IP address when Cloudflare is enabled. It checks for the 'HTTP_CF_CONNECTING_IP' header and uses it if available, ensuring accurate IP logging for ThirstyAffiliates' stats module. This code should be added to your theme's functions.php file or a custom plugin.
```php
function ta_cloudflare_ip_compatibility( $ip ) {
    if ( ! empty( $_SERVER['HTTP_CF_CONNECTING_IP'] ) )
            $ip = $_SERVER['HTTP_CF_CONNECTING_IP'];
    return $ip;
}
add_filter( 'ta_get_user_ip_address' , 'ta_cloudflare_ip_compatibility' , 10 , 1 );

```
### Enable Featured Image Support for ThirstyAffiliates Links (PHP)
Source: https://thirstyaffiliates.com/docs/add-featured-image-support-thirstyaffiliates-links_check=7djtg&hkb-redirect=&nonce=a74d146f44&oid=3218&otype=ht_kb_article&redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fthirstyaffiliates.com%2Fcontact-support&source=widget
This snippet adds support for featured images (thumbnails) to the 'thirstylink' post type used by ThirstyAffiliates. It requires access to your theme's functions.php file. No specific inputs or outputs are defined, but it enables a core WordPress feature for the custom post type.
```php
add_post_type_support( 'thirstylink' , 'thumbnail');

```
### Add Noindex HTTP Headers to Affiliate Link Redirects (PHP)
Source: https://thirstyaffiliates.com/docs/how-to-add-noindex-http-headers-to-affiliate-link-redirects
This PHP code snippet adds 'X-Robots-Tag: noindex, nofollow' to the HTTP response headers before an affiliate link redirect occurs. This ensures search engines do not index the redirected pages. It hooks into the 'ta_before_link_redirect' action provided by ThirstyAffiliates.
```php
function ta_add_noindex_headers() {
    header( 'X-Robots-Tag: noindex, nofollow' );
}

add_action( 'ta_before_link_redirect' , 'ta_add_noindex_headers' );

```
### PHP: Swap Autolinker URL to Destination URL for Skimlinks
Source: https://thirstyaffiliates.com/docs/destination-url-cloaked-url-autolinker-skimlinks-compatibility_check=7djtg&hkb-redirect=&nonce=a_382af0_otype=ht_kb_article&redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fthirstyaffiliates.com%2Fcontact-support&source=widget
This PHP function modifies ThirstyAffiliates' Autolinker to use the original destination URL instead of the cloaked affiliate link. This is necessary for compatibility with JavaScript-based link detection services like Skimlinks. It hooks into the 'thirstyFilterLinkAttributesBeforeInsert' filter.
```php
function swapDestinationURLAutolinker($linkAttributes, $linkID) {
    if (!is_admin()) {
        $linkData = unserialize(get_post_meta($linkID, 'thirstyData', true));
        $destinationUrl = htmlspecialchars_decode($linkData['linkurl'], ENT_COMPAT);
        $linkAttributes['href'] = $destinationUrl;
    }

    return $linkAttributes;
}

add_filter('thirstyFilterLinkAttributesBeforeInsert', 'swapDestinationURLAutolinker', 10, 2);
```
### PHP: ThirstyAffiliates Cloudflare IP for Geolocation Module
Source: https://thirstyaffiliates.com/docs/how-to-track-geo-ip-stats-when-cloudflare-is-enabled
This PHP snippet integrates with the ThirstyAffiliates Geolocation module to retrieve the correct client IP address when Cloudflare is active. It hooks into the 'tap_geolocation_client_ip' filter, prioritizing the 'HTTP_CF_CONNECTING_IP' header for accurate geolocation data. Add this code to your theme's functions.php file or a custom plugin.
```php
function get_proper_ip_from_cf_for_ta_geo($address) {
		if(isset($_SERVER['HTTP_CF_CONNECTING_IP']) && !empty($_SERVER['HTTP_CF_CONNECTING_IP'])) {
			$address = $_SERVER['HTTP_CF_CONNECTING_IP'];
		}
		return $address;
}
add_filter('tap_geolocation_client_ip', 'get_proper_ip_from_cf_for_ta_geo');

```
### Move Disclosure Notice to Top of Article with JavaScript
Source: https://thirstyaffiliates.com/docs/how-to-add-disclosure-message
This JavaScript code snippet uses jQuery to move the disclosure notice from the bottom to the top of an article. It waits for the window to load and then iterates through elements with the class 'tap_disclosure_notice_bottom_post', prepending them to their parent element. This can be added using a plugin like 'Insert Headers and Footers'.
```javascript
jQuery(window).on('load', function () {
jQuery('.tap_disclosure_notice_bottom_post').each(function () {
jQuery(this).prependTo(jQuery(this).parent());
});
});
