### Configure PATH for non-system-global Leiningen in SublimeREPL

Source: https://sublimerepl.readthedocs.io/en/latest

Add this setting to SublimeREPL's User settings (Preferences > Package Settings > SublimeREPL > Settings - User) when Leiningen is not installed system-globally, so SublimeREPL can find the lein binary. Replace /home/myusername/bin with the actual directory containing the lein executable.

```json
"default_extend_env": {"PATH": "{PATH}:/home/myusername/bin"}
```

### Command palette configuration for Lua REPL (Default.sublime-commands)

Source: https://sublimerepl.readthedocs.io/en/latest

Defines a command palette entry that runs run_existing_window_command with the id repl_lua and file config/Lua/Main.sublime-menu. This references the menu configuration instead of duplicating the REPL settings.

```JSON
[
    {
        "caption": "SublimeREPL: Lua",
        "command": "run_existing_window_command", "args":
        {
            /* Note that both these arguments are used to identify the file above and
               load the REPL configuration from it
             */
            "id": "repl_lua",
            "file": "config/Lua/Main.sublime-menu"
        }
    }
]
```

### Define Lua REPL menu configuration

Source: https://sublimerepl.readthedocs.io/en/latest

This menu configuration file defines the command to open a Lua REPL using the subprocess REPL class.

```json
[
     {
        "id": "tools",
        "children":
        [{
            "caption": "SublimeREPL",
            "mnemonic": "R",
            "id": "SublimeREPL",
            "children":
            [
                {"command": "repl_open",
                 "caption": "Lua",
                 "id": "repl_lua",
                 "mnemonic": "L",
                 "args": {
                    "type": "subprocess",
                    "encoding": "utf8",
                    "cmd": ["lua", "-i"],
                    "cwd": "$file_path",
                    "external_id": "lua",
                    "syntax": "Packages/Lua/Lua.tmLanguage"
                    }
                }
            ]
        }]
    }
]
```

### Lua REPL menu configuration (Main.sublime-menu)

Source: https://sublimerepl.readthedocs.io/en/latest

Adds a 'Lua' menu item under 'Tools > SublimeREPL' that launches a Lua REPL via the repl_open command. The id attribute (repl_lua) is used by the command palette configuration to reference this configuration.

```JSON
[
    {
        "id": "repl_lua",
        "caption": "Lua",
        "command": "repl_open",
        "args": {
            "type": "subprocess",
            "encoding": "utf8",
            "cmd": ["lua", "-i"],
            "cwd": "$file_path",
            "syntax": "Packages/Lua/Lua.tmLanguage",
            "external_id": "lua"
        }
    }
]
```

### Extend PATH for REPL subprocesses

Source: https://sublimerepl.readthedocs.io/en/latest

Use this configuration snippet to add a custom directory to the PATH environment variable if the REPL binary is not in the system-wide path.

```json
{
 ...
 "default_extend_env": {"PATH": "{PATH}:/home/myusername/bin"}
 ...
}
```
