### Scripting Examples in TyD Files

Source: https://softwareinc.coredumping.com/wiki/index.php/index_action=edit&mobileaction=toggle_view_desktop&title=Data_Modding

Provides examples of writing scripts directly within TyD files. It showcases conditional logic for paying developers based on income and demonstrates how to reference external script files.

```tyd
Script_EndOfDay "if (Product.GetCashflow(false).Last() > 100) { Product.DevCompany.MakeTransaction(-Product.GetCashflow(false).Last() * 0.1, Bills); } //Pay 10% of last days income if it is more than $100"
### Random Name Generator Structure Example
Source: https://softwareinc.coredumping.com/wiki/index.php/index_action=edit&mobileaction=toggle_view_desktop&title=Data_Modding
This example illustrates the syntax for defining a random name generator using a tree-like structure. Nodes are defined with hyphens, and branching allows for various string combinations. The generator starts from a specified node and appends random strings.
```plaintext

-base2(end,stop)
, you

### Microphone Surveillance Script Example

Source: https://softwareinc.coredumping.com/wiki/index.php/Special%3AMobileDiff/607

This script is part of the microphone surveillance feature in Software Inc. It demonstrates checks for player-caught status, bug reduction based on userbase, random chance of getting caught, launching lawsuits, and adjusting userbase and awareness.

```Lua
if (Product.GetVar("MicMining", true)) then --Check if player has been caught
  Product.Bugs = Max(0, Product.Bugs - Product.Userbase * 0.01); --Remove 1 bug from product for each 100th active user
  if (Random() * Product.Userbase > 1000000 * Product.Category.Popularity) then --Random chance of getting caught
    LaunchLawsuit("SpyingOnUsers", Product.Sum, 1); --Create anonymous lawsuit
    Product.DevCompany.AddFans(-Product.Userbase, Product.Category); --Remove fans and market recognition from player in category
    Product.Userbase = Product.Userbase * 0.05; --Remove 95% of active users
    Product.KillAwareness(); --Remove all marketing
    Product.PutVar("MicMining", false); --Mark player as caught for this product
  end
end
```

### Component Instantiation and Configuration

Source: https://softwareinc.coredumping.com/wiki/index.php/Special%3AMobileDiff/352

Demonstrates how to define and configure MonoBehaviour components for furniture. Tags are interpreted as component names, with nested tags defining component variables. References can be made to components within the same object ('self') or other objects.

```text
<BoxCollider>
  // Variables for BoxCollider component
</BoxCollider>
// Using 'self' to reference a component on the same object:
SomeVariable = "self";
// Referencing components by ComponentName or Transforms:
Parent = "ComponentNameReference";
```text
Script_EndOfDay "if (Product.GetCashflow( false).Last() > 100) { Product.DevCompany.MakeTransaction(-Product.GetCashflow(false).Last() * 0.1, Bills); } //Pay 10% of last days income if it is more than $100"

### TyD Table and List Syntax Example

Source: https://softwareinc.coredumping.com/wiki/index.php/index_action=edit&title=TyD

Demonstrates the basic syntax for creating tables and lists in TyD. Tables use curly braces and contain named records (key-value pairs), while lists use square brackets and contain unnamed values. Comments start with '#'.

```TyD
A basic example demonstrating SIPL's syntax for array creation, conditional logic, loops, and string concatenation. It showcases the 'var' keyword, array initialization using '~[]', 'foreach' loop, and the 'Debug' function.
```SIPL
var words = ~["hello", " ", "world"]; //Create an array
if (5 < 10 < 20) //Always true
	{
	var result = "";
	foreach (word in words)
		{
		result = result + word; //Concatenate the strings from the array
		}
	Debug(result); //Log the result
	}
else
	{
	Debug("Something went wrong");
	}

### Microphone Surveillance Script Example

Source: https://softwareinc.coredumping.com/wiki/index.php/index_action=edit&mobileaction=toggle_view_desktop&title=Data_Modding

This script example demonstrates the microphone surveillance feature within the Operating System SoftwareType. It checks if 'MicMining' is active, adjusts bugs based on userbase, and has a random chance to trigger a lawsuit if certain conditions are met. Dependencies include Product, Max, Random, LaunchLawsuit, and KillAwareness functions.

```script
if (Product.GetVar("MicMining", true)) //Check if player has been caught
{
    Product.Bugs = Max(0, Product.Bugs - Product.Userbase * 0.01); //Remove 1 bug from product for each 100th active user
    if (Random() * Product.Userbase > 1000000 * Product.Category.Popularity) //Random chance of getting caught
    {
        LaunchLawsuit("SpyingOnUsers", Product.Sum, 1); //Create anonymous lawsuit
        Product.DevCompany.AddFans(-Product.Userbase, Product.Category); //Remove fans and market recognition from player in category
        Product.Userbase = Product.Userbase * 0.05; //Remove 95% of active users
