### Shell: Install requests

Source: https://pypi.org/project/requests-oauthlib/0.2

Provides the command to install the 'requests' library using pip. This is a prerequisite for using the requests-oauthlib package.

```shell
$ pip install requests
```

--------------------------------

### Install requests and requests-oauthlib

Source: https://pypi.org/project/requests-oauthlib/0.3

Provides the command to install both the 'requests' and 'requests_oauthlib' libraries using pip. This is the standard method for adding these packages to a Python environment.

```bash
$ pip install requests requests_oauthlib
```

--------------------------------

### OAuth 1 Workflow Example with requests-oauthlib

Source: https://pypi.org/project/requests-oauthlib/0.3

Demonstrates how to access protected resources using OAuth 1 authentication with requests_oauthlib. It requires client credentials and user authorization, with details available in the full OAuth 1 workflow guide.

```python
from requests_oauthlib import OAuth1Session
twitter = OAuth1Session('client_key',
                            client_secret='client_secret',
                            resource_owner_key='resource_owner_key',
                            resource_owner_secret='resource_owner_secret')
url = 'https://api.twitter.com/1/account/settings.json'
r = twitter.get(url)
```

--------------------------------

### Shell: Install requests-oauthlib

Source: https://pypi.org/project/requests-oauthlib/0.2

Provides the command to install the requests-oauthlib package using pip. This command ensures you have the specified version (0.2.0) of the library installed.

```shell
pip install requests-oauthlib==0.2.0
```

--------------------------------

### OAuth 2 Workflow Example with requests-oauthlib

Source: https://pypi.org/project/requests-oauthlib/0.3

Illustrates fetching a protected resource using OAuth 2 authorization code grant (WebApplication flow) with requests_oauthlib. This requires a client ID and an access token, with further information in the OAuth 2 workflow guide.

```python
from requests_oauthlib import OAuth2Session
google = OAuth2Session(r'client_id', token=r'token')
url = 'https://www.googleapis.com/oauth2/v1/userinfo'
r = google.get(url)
```

--------------------------------

### Python: OAuth1 Authentication Setup

Source: https://pypi.org/project/requests-oauthlib/0.2

Demonstrates how to set up OAuth1 authentication using the requests-oauthlib library. It shows the necessary imports and variable declarations for client keys, secrets, and resource owner credentials.

```python
import requests
from requests_authlib import OAuth1
url = u'https://api.twitter.com/1/account/settings.json'
client_key = u'...'
client_secret = u'...'
resource_owner_key = u'...'
resource_owner_secret = u'...'
```

--------------------------------

### OAuth 1 Workflow Example (Python)

Source: https://pypi.org/project/requests-oauthlib/0.4

Demonstrates how to access protected resources using OAuth 1 with requests_oauthlib. It requires obtaining credentials from a provider and user authorization beforehand.

```python
from requests_oauthlib import OAuth1Session
twitter = OAuth1Session('client_key',
                            client_secret='client_secret',
                            resource_owner_key='resource_owner_key',
                            resource_owner_secret='resource_owner_secret')
url = 'https://api.twitter.com/1/account/settings.json'
r = twitter.get(url)
```

--------------------------------

### Python: OAuth1 Header Signing

Source: https://pypi.org/project/requests-oauthlib/0.2

Shows how to make a GET request with OAuth1 authentication using an Authorization header. This is a common method for sending authentication credentials.

```python
headeroauth = OAuth1(client_key, client_secret,
                     resource_owner_key, resource_owner_secret,
                     signature_type='auth_header')
r = requests.get(url, auth=headeroauth)
```

--------------------------------

### OAuth 2 Workflow Example (Python)

Source: https://pypi.org/project/requests-oauthlib/0.4

Illustrates fetching a protected resource using OAuth 2 with requests_oauthlib after obtaining an access token. This typically uses the Authorization Code Grant (WebApplication flow).

```python
from requests_oauthlib import OAuth2Session
google = OAuth2Session(r'client_id', token=r'token')
url = 'https://www.googleapis.com/oauth2/v1/userinfo'
r = google.get(url)
```

--------------------------------

### Python: OAuth1 Query Signing

Source: https://pypi.org/project/requests-oauthlib/0.2

Illustrates how to perform a GET request with OAuth1 authentication using query string signing. This method appends the signature parameters to the URL's query string.

```python
queryoauth = OAuth1(client_key, client_secret,
                    resource_owner_key, resource_owner_secret,
                    signature_type='query')
r = requests.get(url, auth=queryoauth)
```

--------------------------------

### OAuth 1 Session Initialization and Resource Fetching (Python)

Source: https://pypi.org/project/requests-oauthlib/0.6

Demonstrates how to initialize an OAuth1Session with client credentials and fetch protected resources from an API like Twitter. Requires the 'requests_oauthlib' library.

```python
from requests_oauthlib import OAuth1Session
twitter = OAuth1Session('client_key',
client_secret='client_secret',
resource_owner_key='resource_owner_key',
resource_owner_secret='resource_owner_secret')
url = 'https://api.twitter.com/1/account/settings.json'
r = twitter.get(url)
```

--------------------------------

### Python: OAuth1 Body Signing

Source: https://pypi.org/project/requests-oauthlib/0.2

Demonstrates how to perform a POST request with OAuth1 authentication using body signing. This method includes the signature parameters within the request body.

```python
bodyoauth = OAuth1(client_key, client_secret,
                   resource_owner_key, resource_owner_secret,
                   signature_type='body')
r = requests.post(url, auth=bodyoauth)
```
