### Allow Native Messaging for Firefox Snap on Linux

Source: https://pwasforfirefox.filips.si/help/faq

This command-line instruction is used on Linux systems, specifically Ubuntu with Firefox Snap, to manually grant permission for the PWAs for Firefox extension to access the native connector. It requires Flatpak to be installed.

```bash
flatpak permission-set webextensions firefoxpwa snap.firefox yes
```

--------------------------------

### Configure Native Messaging Permissions via Flatpak

Source: https://pwasforfirefox.filips.si/help/faq?q=

This command manually grants the necessary permissions for the Firefox PWA extension to access the native connector when using the Firefox Snap package on Linux. It requires the Flatpak utility to be installed on the system.

```bash
flatpak permission-set webextensions firefoxpwa snap.firefox yes
```

--------------------------------

### Launch Web App with Console Debugging

Source: https://pwasforfirefox.filips.si/help/troubleshooting?q=

```
### Configure AppArmor Profile for FirefoxPWA on Linux
Source: https://pwasforfirefox.filips.si/help/faq
Creates a custom AppArmor profile to allow unprivileged user namespaces for the FirefoxPWA runtime. This resolves security feature warnings on Linux distributions that restrict namespace usage.
```AppArmor
# This profile allows everything and only exists to give the
# application a name instead of having the label "unconfined"

abi <abi/4.0>,
include <tunables/global>

profile firefoxpwa /home/<USER>/.local/share/firefoxpwa/runtime/{firefox,firefox-bin,updater} flags=(unconfined) {
  userns,

  # Site-specific additions and overrides. See local/README for details.
  include if exists <local/firefox>
}
```
--------------------------------
### Fetch Web App Manifest via cURL
Source: https://pwasforfirefox.filips.si/help/troubleshooting?q=
Downloads a web app manifest using a specific User-Agent string to mimic the behavior of the PWAsForFirefox native program, ensuring the server returns the correct manifest version.
```bash
curl -A "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:140.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/140.0" -H "Sec-Fetch-Site: none" -H "Sec-Fetch-Dest: manifest" "https://example.com/manifest.json"
```
### Customize Linux Titlebar Appearance
Source: https://pwasforfirefox.filips.si/help/faq
CSS snippets to adjust titlebar layout for various Linux desktop environments. Use the first block for GNOME/Cinnamon/MATE to center titles and hide icons, and the second for KDE/Xfce/LXDE/LXQt to center titles.
```css
@-moz-document url('chrome://browser/content/browser.xhtml') {
  /* Horizontally center the title element */
  .site-info > .tab-label-container {
    position: absolute;
    transform: translateX(-50%) translateY(-50%);
    left: 50%;
    top: 50%;
    z-index: -1;
  }

  /* Remove the icon element */
  .site-info > .tab-icon-image {
    display: none !important;
  }

  /* Remove space between hamburger menu and window controls */
  .titlebar-spacer[type="post-tabs"] {
    width: 0 !important;
  }
}
```
```css
@-moz-document url('chrome://browser/content/browser.xhtml') {
  /* Horizontally center the title element */
  .site-info > .tab-label-container {
    position: absolute;
    transform: translateX(-50%) translateY(-50%);
    left: 50%;
    top: 50%;
    z-index: -1;
  }
}
