### Example Flutter app for url_launcher_windows

Source: https://pub.dev/packages/url_launcher_windows/example

This is the example app from the package's example/lib/main.dart. It demonstrates how to use UrlLauncherPlatform.instance to check if a URL can be launched and then launch it in the browser. The app provides a button that triggers the launch and displays any errors.

### url_launcher_ios example main.dart

Source: https://pub.dev/packages/url_launcher_ios/example

This is the complete example app for the url_launcher_ios plugin. It demonstrates using UrlLauncherPlatform.instance to check phone call support and launch URLs with different PreferredLaunchMode options: externalApplication, inAppBrowserView, and externalNonBrowserApplication with fallback. The code includes error handling and a phone call launch method.

### Launch URL with url_launcher in Flutter

Source: https://pub.dev/packages/url_launcher

Basic example showing how to launch a URL using the launchUrl function. The _launchUrl function throws an exception if the launch fails.

```dart
import 'package:flutter/material.dart';
import 'package:url_launcher/url_launcher.dart';
final Uri _url = Uri.parse('https://flutter.dev');
void main() => runApp(
  const MaterialApp(
    home: Material(
      child: Center(
        child: ElevatedButton(onPressed: _launchUrl, child: Text('Show Flutter homepage')),
      ),
    ),
  ),
);
Future<void> _launchUrl() async {
  if (!await launchUrl(_url)) {
    throw Exception('Could not launch $_url');
  }
}
### Build the main UI with launch buttons for url_launcher
Source: https://pub.dev/packages/url_launcher/example
Builds the main UI for the url_launcher example app. It provides buttons to launch a URL in various ways: in the browser, in an in-app web view (with options like custom headers, JavaScript off, DOM storage off), as a universal link on iOS, and with a timer to close the view. Also includes a phone call launcher and a Link widget for documentation.
```dart
  @override
  Widget build(BuildContext context) {
    // onPressed calls using this URL are not gated on a 'canLaunch' check
    // because the assumption is that every device can launch a web URL.
    final toLaunch = Uri(scheme: 'https', host: 'www.cylog.org', path: 'headers/');
    return Scaffold(
      appBar: AppBar(title: Text(widget.title)),
      body: ListView(
        children: <Widget>[
          Column(
            mainAxisAlignment: MainAxisAlignment.center,
            children: <Widget>[
              Padding(
                padding: const EdgeInsets.all(16.0),
                child: TextField(
                  onChanged: (String text) => _phone = text,
                  decoration: const InputDecoration(hintText: 'Input the phone number to launch'),
                ),
              ),

### Encode query parameters and launch mailto URL

Source: https://pub.dev/packages/url_launcher

Use encodeQueryParameters to properly encode query parameters for non-http(s) schemes due to a bug in Uri's queryParameters. The example constructs a mailto URI and launches it with launchUrl.

```dart
String? encodeQueryParameters(Map<String, String> params) {
  return params.entries
      .map(
        (MapEntry<String, String> e) =>
### iOS Info.plist LSApplicationQueriesSchemes configuration
Source: https://pub.dev/packages/url_launcher
Add URL schemes passed to canLaunchUrl as LSApplicationQueriesSchemes entries in Info.plist, otherwise canLaunchUrl returns false.
```xml
<key>LSApplicationQueriesSchemes</key>
<array>
  <string>sms</string>
  <string>tel</string>
</array>

```
### Launch file URI with existence check
Source: https://pub.dev/packages/url_launcher
Checks that the file exists before launching a file URI on desktop platforms. Throws exceptions if the file does not exist or if launchUrl fails.
```dart
final String filePath = testFile.absolute.path;
final uri = Uri.file(filePath);

if (!File(uri.toFilePath()).existsSync()) {
  throw Exception('$uri does not exist!');
}
if (!await launchUrl(uri)) {
  throw Exception('Could not launch $uri');
}

```
### Android manifest queries configuration
Source: https://pub.dev/packages/url_launcher
Add URL schemes passed to canLaunchUrl as <queries> entries in AndroidManifest.xml, otherwise canLaunchUrl returns false on Android 11+ and supportsLaunchMode(LaunchMode.inAppBrowserView) requires a <queries> entry.
```xml
<!-- Provide required visibility configuration for API level 30 and above -->
<queries>
  <!-- If your app checks for SMS support -->
  <intent>
    <action android:name="android.intent.action.VIEW" />
    <data android:scheme="sms" />
  </intent>
  <!-- If your app checks for call support -->
  <intent>
    <action android:name="android.intent.action.VIEW" />
    <data android:scheme="tel" />
  </intent>
  <!-- If your application checks for inAppBrowserView launch mode support -->
  <intent>
    <action android:name="android.support.customtabs.action.CustomTabsService" />
  </intent>
</queries>

### Flutter widget for launching URLs with url_launcher_ios

Source: https://pub.dev/packages/url_launcher_ios/example

This code shows a Flutter widget's build method that creates a UI with buttons to launch a URL in different ways: making a phone call, launching in a browser, launching in an in-app web view, launching a universal link, and launching in-app with a 5-second close timer. It uses the url_launcher_ios package and demonstrates the use of UrlLauncherPlatform.instance.closeWebView().

```dart
  @override
  Widget build(BuildContext context) {
    const toLaunch = 'https://www.cylog.org/headers/';
    return Scaffold(
      appBar: AppBar(title: Text(widget.title)),
      body: ListView(
        children: <Widget>[
          Column(
            mainAxisAlignment: MainAxisAlignment.center,
            children: <Widget>[
              Padding(
                padding: const EdgeInsets.all(16.0),
                child: TextField(
                  onChanged: (String text) => _phone = text,
                  decoration: const InputDecoration(hintText: 'Input the phone number to launch'),
                ),
              ),
              ElevatedButton(
                onPressed: _hasCallSupport
                    ? () => setState(() {
                        _launched = _makePhoneCall('tel:$_phone');
                      })
                    : null,
                child: _hasCallSupport
                    ? const Text('Make phone call')
                    : const Text('Calling not supported'),
              ),
              const Padding(padding: EdgeInsets.all(16.0), child: Text(toLaunch)),
              ElevatedButton(
                onPressed: () => setState(() {
                  _launched = _launchInBrowser(toLaunch);
### Flutter widget build method for launching URLs
Source: https://pub.dev/packages/url_launcher_android/example
This code shows a Flutter widget's build method that creates a UI with buttons to launch a URL in different ways: in a browser, non-browser app, Android Custom Tab, web view, web view with custom headers, web view without JavaScript, web view without DOM storage, and web view with auto-close after 5 seconds. It uses the url_launcher package's launcher methods and includes a phone call feature.
```dart
  @override
  Widget build(BuildContext context) {
    // onPressed calls using this URL are not gated on a 'canLaunch' check
    // because the assumption is that every device can launch a web URL.
    const toLaunch = 'https://www.cylog.org/headers/';
    return Scaffold(
      appBar: AppBar(title: Text(widget.title)),
      body: ListView(
        children: <Widget>[
          Column(
            mainAxisAlignment: MainAxisAlignment.center,
            children: <Widget>[
              Padding(
                padding: const EdgeInsets.all(16.0),
                child: TextField(
                  onChanged: (String text) => _phone = text,
                  decoration: const InputDecoration(hintText: 'Input the phone number to launch'),
                ),
              ),
              ElevatedButton(
