### Create and Populate Example Tables for Relation Setup

Source: https://docs.phpmyadmin.net/en/latest/faq.html

This SQL script defines three tables (REL_countries, REL_persons, REL_towns) and populates them with sample data. It sets up primary keys and specifies MyISAM as the storage engine. This is a prerequisite for configuring relation views in phpMyAdmin.

```sql
CREATE TABLE REL_countries (
country_code char(1) NOT NULL default '',
description varchar(10) NOT NULL default '',
PRIMARY KEY (country_code)
) ENGINE=MyISAM;
INSERT INTO REL_countries VALUES ('C', 'Canada');
CREATE TABLE REL_persons (
id tinyint(4) NOT NULL auto_increment,
person_name varchar(32) NOT NULL default '',
town_code varchar(5) default '0',
country_code char(1) NOT NULL default '',
PRIMARY KEY (id)
) ENGINE=MyISAM;
INSERT INTO REL_persons VALUES (11, 'Marc', 'S', 'C');
INSERT INTO REL_persons VALUES (15, 'Paul', 'S', 'C');
CREATE TABLE REL_towns (
town_code varchar(5) NOT NULL default '0',
description varchar(30) NOT NULL default '',
PRIMARY KEY (town_code)
) ENGINE=MyISAM;
INSERT INTO REL_towns VALUES ('S', 'Sherbrooke');
INSERT INTO REL_towns VALUES ('M', 'Montréal');
```

### Signon Authentication Example

Source: https://docs.phpmyadmin.net/en/latest/_sources/setup.rst.txt

This example demonstrates how to save login credentials in a session for the Signon authentication mode. Ensure the 'openssl' extension is enabled for better performance.

```php
<?php
/*
 * This is a very basic example of how to store login credentials
 * in the session. You can use this to integrate phpMyAdmin with
 * other applications that already have a login system.
 */
$cfg['Servers'][1]['SignonSession'] = "phpMyAdmin";
$cfg['Servers'][1]['SignonCookieParams']["lifetime"] = 3600;
// If you want to use Signon authentication, you must
// configure the SignonURL and SignonScript directives in config.inc.php
// For example:
// $cfg['Servers'][1]['SignonURL'] = "http://your.domain.com/login.php";
// $cfg['Servers'][1]['SignonScript'] = "/path/to/your/login.php";
?>
```

--------------------------------

### Run phpMyAdmin with docker-compose

Source: https://docs.phpmyadmin.net/en/latest/_sources/setup.rst.txt

### Custom Signon Script Example

Source: https://docs.phpmyadmin.net/en/latest/_sources/setup.rst.txt

This minimal example illustrates how to implement a custom PHP wrapper script to retrieve and set credentials for the Signon authentication mode when passing credentials through other means.

```php
<?php
/*
 * This is a minimal example of a SignonScript.
 * It should retrieve login credentials from your application's
 * session or other storage and return them in an array.
 */
// Example: Retrieve username and password from a custom session variable
$username = $_SESSION['my_app_user'];
$password = $_SESSION['my_app_password'];
// Return credentials in an array format
return array(
    'user' => $username,
    'password' => $password
);
?>
```

--------------------------------

### OpenID Integration Example

Source: https://docs.phpmyadmin.net/en/latest/_sources/setup.rst.txt

This example shows how to integrate phpMyAdmin with OpenID using the Signon authentication mode. It requires specific configuration for session data or a custom script.

```php
<?php
/*
 * This is an example of how to integrate phpMyAdmin with OpenID.
 * It uses the Signon authentication mode and requires an OpenID
 * provider to handle the authentication process.
 */
$cfg['Servers'][1]['SignonSession'] = "phpMyAdmin";
$cfg['Servers'][1]['SignonCookieParams']["lifetime"] = 3600;
// Configure your OpenID provider details here
// For example:
// $cfg['Servers'][1]['OpenIDProvider'] = "https://www.example.com/openid/";
?>
```

### Configure Multiple MySQL Servers

Source: https://docs.phpmyadmin.net/en/latest/config.html

Use the `$cfg['Servers']` array to define connection details for multiple MySQL servers. Start indexing from 1.

```php
$cfg['Servers']
Type:
array
Default value:
one server array with settings listed below
Since version 1.4.2, phpMyAdmin supports the administration of multiple MySQL servers. Therefore, a `$cfg['Servers']`-array has been added which contains the login information for the different servers. The first `$cfg['Servers'][$i]['host']` contains the hostname of the first server, the second `$cfg['Servers'][$i]['host']` the hostname of the second server, etc. In `libraries/config.default.php`, there is only one section for server definition, however you can put as many as you need in `config.inc.php`, copy that block or needed parts (you don’t have to define all settings, just those you need to change).
Note
The `$cfg['Servers']` array starts with `$cfg['Servers'][1]`. Do not use `$cfg['Servers'][0]`. If you want more than one server, just copy following section (including `$i` increment) several times. There is no need to define full server array, just define values you need to change.
```

### Session-based Single Signon Example

Source: https://docs.phpmyadmin.net/en/latest/setup.html

This PHP script demonstrates how to integrate session-based single signon with phpMyAdmin. It handles storing user credentials (username, password, host, port) in session variables and redirects the user to phpMyAdmin.

```php
<?php
/**
 * Single signon for phpMyAdmin
 *
 * This is just example how to use session based single signon with
 * phpMyAdmin, it is not intended to be perfect code and look, only
 * shows how you can integrate this functionality in your application.
 */
/* Use cookies for session */
ini_set('session.use_cookies', 'true');
/* Change this to true if using phpMyAdmin over https */
$secure_cookie = false;
/* Need to have cookie visible from parent directory */
session_set_cookie_params(0, '/', '', $secure_cookie, true);
/* Create signon session */
$session_name = 'SignonSession';
session_name($session_name);
// Uncomment and change the following line to match your $cfg['SessionSavePath']
//session_save_path('/foobar');
@session_start();
/* Was data posted? */
if (isset($_POST['user'])) {
    /* Store there credentials */
    $_SESSION['PMA_single_signon_user'] = $_POST['user'];
    $_SESSION['PMA_single_signon_password'] = $_POST['password'];
    $_SESSION['PMA_single_signon_host'] = $_POST['host'];
    $_SESSION['PMA_single_signon_port'] = $_POST['port'];
    $_SESSION['PMA_single_signon_HMAC_secret'] = hash('sha1', uniqid(strval(random_int(0, mt_getrandmax())), true));
    $id = session_id();
