### Specify Output Size to Avoid Empty Pages

Source: https://pdfposter.readthedocs.io/en/latest/_sources/Frequently%20Asked%20Questions.rst.txt

```bash
pdfposter -mA5 -p2x1A5 in.pdf out.pdf
```

--------------------------------

pdfposter -p 1x2a4 testpage-wide.pdf out.pdf
```
--------------------------------
### Create a 2x1 A4 Poster from a Wide Image
Source: https://pdfposter.readthedocs.io/en/latest/_sources/Examples.rst.txt
Generates a poster layout where two A4 pages are placed side-by-side along their long edge, suitable for wide input images. This results in a poster that is two pages wide and one page high.
```bash
pdfposter -p 2x1a4 testpage-wide.pdf out.pdf
```
--------------------------------
### Handling Page Size Mismatch in pdfposter
Source: https://pdfposter.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Frequently%20Asked%20Questions.html
This command demonstrates a common scenario where specifying a larger output page size (A4) than intended (two A5 pages) results in an extra, seemingly empty page. The solution is to explicitly define the output page dimensions to match the desired number of smaller pages.
```bash
pdfposter -mA5 -pA4 in.pdf out.pdf

```
--------------------------------
### Create a 1x2 A4 Poster from a Tall Image
pdfposter -p 1x2a4 testpage-tall.pdf out.pdf
```

pdfposter -p a3 -m a4 placard-a1.pdf poster-on-two-a4.pdf
```
--------------------------------
### Scale A4 to A0 Poster
Source: https://pdfposter.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Examples.html
### Suppressing Empty Pages in pdfposter
Source: https://pdfposter.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Frequently%20Asked%20Questions.html
Use this command to ensure the output PDF has the exact number of pages expected by specifying the desired output size using the same page-name as the medium-size. This avoids superfluous empty pages caused by rounding issues with ISO page sizes.
```bash
pdfposter -mA5 -p2x1A5 in.pdf out.pdf

```
--------------------------------
### Enlarge to A0 Media
Source: https://pdfposter.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Examples.html
```

--------------------------------
