### Integrate PDFHummus with CMake

Source: http://www.pdfhummus.com

Use `find_package(PDFHummus)` to integrate the library if installed, or `FetchContent` to download and build it from its GitHub repository. Link your target to the PDFHummus library using `target_link_libraries`.

```cmake
find_package(PDFHummus)
target_link_libraries(<YR TARGET> PDFHummus::PDFWriter)
```

```cmake
include(FetchContent)
FetchContent_Declare(
  PDFHummus
  GIT_REPOSITORY https://github.com/galkahana/Hummus-PDF.git
)
FetchContent_MakeAvailable(PDFHummus)
target_link_libraries(<YR TARGET> PDFHummus::PDFWriter)
Example of filling values into form fields in a PDF using the JavaScript library.
```javascript
// Example for filling form values (JS)
// This snippet is a conceptual representation and not a direct code block from the source.
// The actual implementation would involve MuhammaraJS or HummusJS API calls.

### JavaScript Advanced PDF Page Import

Source: http://www.pdfhummus.com

Example demonstrating advanced import of PDF pages into a target PDF file, preserving original comments, using the JavaScript library.

```javascript
// Example for advanced import of PDF pages (JS)
// This snippet is a conceptual representation and not a direct code block from the source.
// The actual implementation would involve MuhammaraJS or HummusJS API calls.
Example of reading values from form fields in a PDF using the JavaScript library.
```javascript
// Example for reading form values (JS)
// This snippet is a conceptual representation and not a direct code block from the source.
// The actual implementation would involve MuhammaraJS or HummusJS API calls.

### PDF Text Extraction CLI (C++)

Source: http://www.pdfhummus.com

A command-line tool to parse PDF files for text content and write it to standard output. This example demonstrates using the PDF page interpreter for text extraction and includes Bidi (bidirectional text) support.

```c++
// Example for PDF Text extraction CLI (C++)
// This snippet is a conceptual representation and not a direct code block from the source.
// The actual implementation would involve PDFHummus API calls for page interpretation and text collection.
```

--------------------------------

### JavaScript PDF Text Extraction

Source: http://www.pdfhummus.com

Example of extracting text from a PDF using the JavaScript version of the library.

```javascript
// Example for extracting text (JS)
// This snippet is a conceptual representation and not a direct code block from the source.
// The actual implementation would involve MuhammaraJS or HummusJS API calls.
```

### JavaScript PDF Form Locking

Source: http://www.pdfhummus.com

Example of converting a live PDF form into a print-ready, read-only version using the JavaScript library.

```javascript
// Example for "locking form" (JS)
// This snippet is a conceptual representation and not a direct code block from the source.
// The actual implementation would involve MuhammaraJS or HummusJS API calls.
### Drawing Emojis with COLR V1
Source: http://www.pdfhummus.com
This snippet demonstrates the drawing process for emojis using the COLR V1 table. It handles more complex rendering including gradient colors and transformations, utilizing a painter object to apply these effects. The implementation borrows heavily from Google Skia's gradient shader.
```cpp
void PaintedGlyphsDrawingContext::draw(PDFWriter* w, PDFObject* page, PDFHummus::Context* context, unsigned int glyphIndex)
{
    auto& layers = _colrTable->getLayers(glyphIndex);
    for (const auto& layer : layers)
    {
        PDFHummus::Context layerContext(context);
        applyLayerToContext(&layerContext, layer);
        drawGlyph(&layerContext, layer.glyphIndex);
    }
}
```
### Configure Text Rendering Options for Form Fields
Source: http://www.pdfhummus.com
When filling PDF forms, you can now provide an 'options' object as the third parameter to specify text rendering details. The 'defaultTextOptions' within this object allow customization of how text is displayed. Set 'debug: true' in the options to inspect the 'da' string for clues on what to provide.
```javascript
const options = {
  defaultTextOptions: {
    // Example: specify font, size, color, etc.
    // font: "/Type1/Times-Roman",
    // size: 12,
    // color: {
    //   red: 0,
    //   green: 0,
    //   blue: 0
    // }
  },
  debug: true // Set to true to inspect the 'da' string
};

// Assuming 'form' is an instance of PDFForm and 'fieldName' is the field name
// form.setField("fieldName", "fieldValue", options);

```
### Add or Remove Password CLI (C++)
Source: http://www.pdfhummus.com
A command-line tool to encrypt or decrypt PDF files using the library's `recrypt` method. It can also be used to 'fix' corrupted PDF files by recreating them and removing unused parts. Useful for removing passwords from accounting PDFs before storage.
```c++
// Example for Adding or Removing password CLI (C++)
// This snippet is a conceptual representation and not a direct code block from the source.
// The actual implementation would involve PDFHummus API calls for encryption/decryption using recrypt.
```
### Drawing Emojis with COLR V0
Source: http://www.pdfhummus.com
This snippet illustrates how emojis are drawn using the COLR V0 table, which defines an emoji as a list of glyphs and their corresponding colors. The process involves iterating through this list and drawing each glyph with its specified color, layering them to form the final emoji.
```cpp
void LayeredGlyphsDrawingContext::draw(PDFWriter* w, PDFObject* page, PDFHummus::Context* context, unsigned int glyphIndex)
{
    auto& glyphs = _colrTable->getGlyphs(glyphIndex);
    for (const auto& glyph : glyphs)
    {
        PDFHummus::Context layerContext(context);
        layerContext.getPainter()->setStrokeColor(PDFColor(glyph.color.red, glyph.color.green, glyph.color.blue, glyph.color.alpha));
        layerContext.getPainter()->setFillColor(PDFColor(glyph.color.red, glyph.color.green, glyph.color.blue, glyph.color.alpha));
        drawGlyph(&layerContext, glyph.glyphIndex);
    }
}
