### APEX_AI.generate Example in SQL Developer

Source: https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/oracle/apex/24.2/htmdb/oracle-apex-app-builder-users-guide.pdf

Example of using the APEX_AI package to generate a response. Requires an APEX session and a configured Generative AI Service. The example creates a session, calls apex_ai.generate, prints the result, and deletes the session, with exception handling to ensure session cleanup.

```plsql
set serveroutput on;
declare
l_result clob;
begin
apex_session.create_session (
p_app_id => 102,
p_page_id => 1,
p_username => 'ADMIN' );
l_result := apex_ai.generate( 'what''s 1+1?' );
sys.dbms_output.put_line( l_result );
apex_session.delete_session;
exception
when others then
apex_session.delete_session;
raise;
end;
/
```
