### Optimizing Entity Lookups with Local Variables

Source: https://mcreator.net/wiki/how-make-high-performance-minecraft-mods

Store the result of expensive 'get nearest entity' procedures in a local variable to avoid redundant calls. This improves performance and code clarity.

```Java
var nearestEntity = get_nearest_entity_of_type(entity, "minecraft:player");
if (nearestEntity != null) {
    // Use nearestEntity here
}
```

```Java
var nearestEntity = get_nearest_entity_of_type(entity, "minecraft:player");
// Use nearestEntity here
var anotherEntity = get_nearest_entity_of_type(entity, "minecraft:player");
// Use anotherEntity here
```

### Template File Definitions

Source: https://mcreator.net/wiki/create-new-mcreator-generators

Defines template files used for generating mod elements, specifying their paths within the generator's template folder and the output location.

```yaml
templates:
  - template: armor.java.ftl
    name: "@SRCROOT/@BASEPACKAGEPATH/item/@NAMEItem.java"
  - template: json/item.json.ftl
    writer: json
    condition: enableHelmet
    deleteWhenConditionFalse: true
    variables: "item=helmet"
    name: "@MODASSETSROOT/models/item/@registryname_helmet.json"
```

### Could Not Connect to Gradle Daemon Log

Source: https://mcreator.net/wiki/gradle-setup-errors

This error indicates a failure to connect to the Gradle daemon, which manages build processes. Restarting MCreator or clearing the Gradle cache and configuration files are common fixes.

```log
### Run Procedure on Server-Side Only
Source: https://mcreator.net/wiki/developing-multiplayer-compatible-mods
Use this pattern to ensure a procedure only executes on the server, preventing discrepancies between clients. Wrap your gameplay-altering logic within this conditional block.
```MCreator Procedure
if NOT "Is provided world client-side"
(your existing procedure)
```
### Adjusting OBJ Material for Lighting
Source: https://mcreator.net/wiki/custom-obj-models-blocks-and-items
Modify the 'Ka' line in your model's MTL file to control how lighting affects the OBJ model. Set it to '0.0 0.0 0.0' for no light effect or a value in-between for a partial effect.
```plaintext
Ka 1.0 1.0 1.0
```
```plaintext
Ka 0.0 0.0 0.0
```
### Use Predefined Color Hues
Source: https://mcreator.net/wiki/how-use-blockly-plugins
Utilizes predefined hue constants for logic, text, and math blocks to ensure consistent coloring.
```JSON
"%{BKY_LOGIC_HUE}" to have the colour of a logic block
"%{BKY_TEXTS_HUE}" to have the colour of a text block
"%{BKY_MATH_HUE}" to have the colour of a math block

```
### Default Dark Theme JSON
Source: https://mcreator.net/wiki/creating-themes
This is the `theme.json` configuration for MCreator's default dark theme, showcasing basic properties and color scheme settings.
```json
{
  "name": "Default Dark",
  "colorScheme": {
    "secondAltBackgroundColor": "0x1e1e1e",
    "backgroundColor": "0x323232",
    "altBackgroundColor": "0x505050",
    "altForegroundColor": "0xc2c2c2",
    "foregroundColor": "0xf5f5f5"
  }
}

### Procedure with Corrected Decimal Coordinate Handling (2021.1+)

Source: https://mcreator.net/wiki/coordinates-when-operating-blocks-are-sometimes

This solution is for MCreator versions 2021.1 and later. It utilizes MCreator's built-in blocks like 'x ~ block' which correctly handle and return rounded integer coordinates, even from decimal sources.

```MCreator Procedure
set block at x: x ~ block, y: y ~ block, z: z ~ block to <your_block>
```

### Set GPIO Pin to Output Mode

Source: https://mcreator.net/wiki/minecraft-link-getting-started-raspberry-pi

Configure a specific GPIO pin on your Raspberry Pi to output mode, necessary for controlling devices like LEDs.

```minecraft commands
/link pinmode 1 out
```

### Generator Selector Window Configuration

Source: https://mcreator.net/wiki/create-new-mcreator-generators

Defines the display name, supported features, status, and versioning for a generator in the MCreator interface.

```yaml
name: Minecraft Forge for @minecraft (@buildfileversion)
basefeatures: [variables, model_json, model_java, model_obj]
partial_support: [item, textures]
status: stable
buildfileversion: 36.1.0
subversion: 1.0.1
```

--------------------------------

### Has Structure: Ocean Ruin (Warm)

Source: https://mcreator.net/wiki/minecraft-biome-tags-list

Biomes where warm variant Ocean Ruins can generate.

```plaintext
has_structure/ocean_ruin_warm
```

### Procedure with Direct Decimal Coordinate Usage

Source: https://mcreator.net/wiki/coordinates-when-operating-blocks-are-sometimes

This procedure demonstrates the issue where directly using decimal coordinates (e.g., from an entity trigger) can lead to incorrect block placement. It works correctly only if triggered by a block that returns integer coordinates.

```MCreator Procedure
set block at x: x, y: y, z: z to <your_block>
```

### Item Display Settings JSON

Source: https://mcreator.net/wiki/blockbench-blockitem-display-settings

Defines the display properties for items in various Minecraft contexts (ground, head, third-person, first-person, fixed).

```json
{
    "gui_light": "front",
    "display": {
        "ground": {
            "rotation": [ 0, 0, 0 ],
            "translation": [ 0, 2, 0],
            "scale":[ 0.5, 0.5, 0.5 ]
        },
        "head": {
            "rotation": [ 0, 180, 0 ],
            "translation": [ 0, 13, 7],
            "scale":[ 1, 1, 1]
        },
        "thirdperson_righthand": {
            "rotation": [ 0, 0, 0 ],
            "translation": [ 0, 3, 1 ],
            "scale": [ 0.55, 0.55, 0.55 ]
        },
        "firstperson_righthand": {
            "rotation": [ 0, -90, 25 ],
            "translation": [ 1.13, 3.2, 1.13],
            "scale": [ 0.68, 0.68, 0.68 ]
        },
        "fixed": {
            "rotation": [ 0, 180, 0 ],
            "scale": [ 1, 1, 1 ]
        }
    }
}
