### Load McCLIM Examples and Run Demo Browser

Source: https://mcclim.common-lisp.dev/McCLIM/McCLIM

This code snippet shows how to load the McCLIM examples and then launch the example browser application. This is useful for testing the McCLIM installation and exploring its capabilities.

```common-lisp
(ql:quickload "clim-examples")
(clim-demo:demodemo)
```

### Install McCLIM using Quicklisp

Source: https://mcclim.common-lisp.dev/McCLIM/McCLIM

This code snippet demonstrates how to install the McCLIM library using the Quicklisp package manager. It assumes Quicklisp is already configured in the Common Lisp REPL.

```common-lisp
(ql:quickload "mcclim")
```

### Common Lisp Commit Example: GENERATE-PANES

Source: https://mcclim.common-lisp.dev/McCLIM/McCLIM

This code snippet is a Common Lisp function definition related to the GENERATE-PANES macro. It addresses the requirement that GENERATE-PANES must adopt frame panes before user code can access them.

```common-lisp
GENERATE-PANES is specified to adopt frame panes, so we can't do that /after/
this function is called. In other words, it is conforming to user code to define
a method (GENERATE-PANES :AFTER) that accesses sheets and to expect that they
are grafted (i.e they have a working medium).
```

### Run McCLIM Application

Source: https://mcclim.common-lisp.dev/McCLIM/McCLIM

This Common Lisp command executes the 'app-main' function defined in the 'APP' package, which launches the McCLIM application. This assumes the application code has been loaded.

```common-lisp
(app:app-main)
```

### Define and Run a Basic McCLIM Application

Source: https://mcclim.common-lisp.dev/McCLIM/McCLIM

This Common Lisp code defines a simple application frame 'superapp' with a single interactive pane and provides a function 'app-main' to run it. It requires the McCLIM library to be loaded.

```common-lisp
(in-package :common-lisp-user)
(defpackage "APP"
  (:use :clim :clim-lisp)
  (:export "APP-MAIN"))
(in-package :app)
;;; Define a application-frame (a.k.a. application window in traditional GUI's).
(define-application-frame superapp ()
  ()
  ;; :panes section describes different parts of the
  ;; application-frame. This application has only one pane.
  (:panes
   (int :interactor :height 400 :width 600))
  ;; :layouts section describes how the panes are layed out.
  ;; This application has one layout named "default" which has a single pane.
  (:layouts
   (default int)))
;;; Following function launches an instance of "superapp" application-frame.
(defun app-main ()
  (run-frame-top-level (make-application-frame 'superapp)))
