```typescript
// Example code for performing a GET request using the REST connector would go here.
// This would typically involve configuring the connector and then invoking a method on it.
// For instance:
// import {get} from '@loopback/rest';
// import {repository} from '@loopback/repository';
// import {MyRepository} from '../repositories';
// @injectable()
// export class MyService {
//   constructor(
//     @repository(MyRepository)
//     public myRepository: MyRepository,
//   ) {}
//   @get('/remote-data')
//   async getRemoteData(): Promise<any> {
//     // Assuming myRepository is configured to use the REST connector
//     const response = await this.myRepository.execute('GET', '/some-endpoint');
//     return response;
//   }
// }
Source: https://loopback.io/doc/en/lb4/express-with-lb4-rest-tutorial
Implements the `boot` and `start` methods for the ExpressServer class. The `boot` method ensures the LoopBack application is fully initialized, and the `start` method launches the Express server, listening for incoming requests.
```typescript
import {once} from 'events';
import express from 'express';
import {ApplicationConfig, NoteApplication} from './application';
import http from 'http';

export {ApplicationConfig};

export class ExpressServer {
  public readonly app: express.Application;
  public readonly lbApp: NoteApplication;
  private server?: http.Server;

  constructor(options: ApplicationConfig = {}) {
    this.app = express();
