Launch the Claude Code application from your terminal or IDE.

```shell
claude
```

--------------------------------

### Full MCP Server Configuration with Dataset ID

Source: https://learn.supernova.io/latest/releases/september-2025/introducing-supernova-relay-lWfNcpwJ

This is an example of the complete MCP server configuration, including a specific dataset ID integrated into the URL.

```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "supernova": {
	        "url": "https://mcp.supernova.io/mcp/ds/60216?datasetId=1283"
	    }
    }
}
```

--------------------------------

### Install Supernova MCP for Claude Code

Source: https://learn.supernova.io/latest/prototyping/delivery-and-handoff/mcp-export-iAGhZvRH

Install the Supernova MCP integration for Claude Code using the provided command. This allows Claude Code to connect to Supernova projects.

```shell
claude mcp add --transport http supernova-mcp 'https://mcp.supernova.io/mcp'
```

### MCP Server Configuration with Specific Design System and Dataset IDs

Source: https://learn.supernova.io/latest/design-systems/features/mcp-for-design-system-LIHAMhjr-LIHAMhjr

Full configuration example specifying both the design system ID and a specific dataset ID. Replace '60216' and '1283' with your actual IDs.

```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "supernova": {
	        "url": "https://mcp.supernova.io/mcp/ds/60216?datasetId=1283",
	    }
    }
}
```

--------------------------------

### Example Dataset ID URL

Source: https://learn.supernova.io/latest/releases/september-2025/introducing-supernova-relay-lWfNcpwJ

This URL format shows how to extract the dataset ID, which is the fourth attribute in the path.

```text
https://app.supernova.io/5568-supernova/60216-my-design-system/382-version/1283-default/
```

--------------------------------

### Equivalent Mapping using Token Sets

Source: https://learn.supernova.io/latest/design-systems/import-design-system-data/importing-via-tokens-studio/working-with-themes-uDt16AKH

Demonstrates an alternative mapping to the 'tokensTheme' approach, explicitly listing token sets. This achieves the same result as using a predefined Tokens Studio theme.

```json
[
    {
      "tokenSets": ["global", "light"],
      "supernovaBrand": "Default"
    }
]
```

--------------------------------

### Upload Container via CLI

Source: https://learn.supernova.io/latest/prototyping/setup-guide/setting-up-code-libraries/updating-and-versioning-0OnyhEWg-0OnyhEWg

Use this command to upload your container. Replace placeholders with your actual Workspace ID and Design System ID.

```bash
supernova template-upload -w [WORKSPACE_ID] -d [DESIGN_SYSTEM_ID]
```

--------------------------------

### Tool Function: get_selected_project_feature_details

Source: https://learn.supernova.io/latest/prototyping/delivery-and-handoff/mcp-export-iAGhZvRH

Fetches details of the selected project feature and its latest iteration artifacts. This function is useful for getting the most recent version of a feature.

```python
get_selected_project_feature_details
```
