### Example YouTrack Saved Search Query

Source: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/2025.3/create-release-notes.html

Use this query to find features and tasks in a specific version with a 'Verified' state. This is a common starting point for creating release notes.

```text
in: YouTrack #Feature #Task Fix versions: 2025.1
```

--------------------------------

### Examples of Search Queries for Users

Source: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/2025.3/access-management-search.html

These examples demonstrate how to combine different attributes and logical operators to filter user accounts. They show how to search for users with a specific login module and membership in one or more groups.

```text
authModule: Google group: Compliance, Legal
```

```text
authModule: Google group: Compliance group: Legal
```

```text
authModule: Google and group: Compliance, Legal
```

```text
authModule: Google and (group: Compliance or group: Legal)
```

--------------------------------

### Example Predefined Field String

Source: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/2025.3/translating-youtrack-ui.html

This is an example of a predefined field string from the `PredefinedFields.properties` file, showing attribute name, aliases, and form flags.

```properties
star:sphc|watcher:c
```

--------------------------------

### Example Saved Search Query for Unresolved Issues

Source: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/2025.3/limit-work-in-progress-kanban.html

This is an example of a saved search query used to display all unresolved issues within specific projects. It can be used to manage the incoming queue of issues for a Kanban board.

```text
#Unresolved and (project: OC or project CPP)
```

--------------------------------

### Example Command with Build Variable

Source: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/2025.3/azure-pipelines-integration.html

Use the `${build}` variable to reference the pipeline ID in Azure Pipelines when applying commands to issues.

```text
Subsystem Testing Test in build ${build}
```

--------------------------------

### Example: Change Issue State via Commit

Source: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/2025.3/apply-commands-in-vcs-commits.html

This example demonstrates how to use a commit message to update an issue's state. The commit message includes the issue ID and the 'Ready' command, which changes the issue's state accordingly. The commit message text itself is also preserved.

```text
RD-2677 article and formatting issues #RD-2677 Ready
```

--------------------------------

### Generic VCS Repository URL Example

Source: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/2025.3/generic-vcs-integration.html

Use `$hash$` as a placeholder for commit hashes when specifying the repository URL for a generic VCS integration.

```text
https://<servername.com>/<user>/<repositoryname>/commit/$hash$
```

--------------------------------

### Ordered List with Custom Numbering and Delimiters

Source: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/2025.3/youtrack-markdown-syntax-issues.html

Create ordered lists where the starting number and delimiter can be customized. Subsequent numbering is incremented by YouTrack, but the initial number dictates the list's start.

```markdown
1. Only lists that start with 1 are allowed to interrupt paragraphs.
1. Subsequent numbering is irrelevant.
0. You can start a new line with any number as long as you use the same delimiter character.
2) This item uses a different delimiter and starts a new ordered list, starting with the number 2.
```

```markdown
4) The empty line means that the list does not interrupt a paragraph.
1) The ordered list continues to increment the numbering from the previous list item.
123456789) Use any number fewer than ten characters. This number is parsed as the third item in the ordered list.
```

--------------------------------

### YouTrack Command Syntax

Source: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/2025.3/command-reference.html

This is an example of the command syntax used in YouTrack. It shows how to apply changes to issues, such as assigning them to yourself, adding a tag, and setting a priority.

```text
for me tag YouTrack Mobile critical
```

--------------------------------

### Attribute-based Search Syntax Examples

Source: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/2025.3/search-for-articles.html

Demonstrates the basic syntax for attribute-based search queries in YouTrack, including separating attributes from values, listing multiple values, and handling ranges.

```text
project: IDEADEV
```

```text
project: IDEADEV author: andy.watkins , brianna.myers
```

```text
project: IDEADEV created: 2022-01 .. 2022-06
```

```text
project: IDEADEV created: * .. 2022-01
```

```text
tag: {due diligence}
```

```text
tag: -{due diligence}
### Format Block Quotes in Markdown
Source: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/2025.3/youtrack-markdown-syntax-issues.html
Start lines with one or more '>' characters followed by a space to format text as a block quote. Multiple '>' characters indicate nested quotes. Blank lines within a quote must also start with '>'.
```markdown
> Use block quotes to emulate reply text.
> This line is part of the same quote.

This line is not formatted and does not belong to the quote block.

> This block spans multiple paragraphs.
>
> The second paragraph is grouped with the previous paragraph in the same quote block.
> Character formatting is _also_ supported inside the **quote block**.
```
```markdown
> Quote blocks can also be nested.
>> When you start a new line with additional > characters,
>>> it simulates a threaded conversation.
```
--------------------------------
### Connect with Local MCP Client via Environment Variable
Source: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/2025.3/model-context-protocol-server.html
Establish a local MCP client connection using the mcp-remote command with authentication provided via an environment variable. Replace placeholders with your YouTrack instance name and permanent token.
```bash
npx mcp-remote <your-youtrack-instance-name>.youtrack.cloud/mcp --header Authorization:${AUTH_HEADER}
```
--------------------------------
### Indented Code Block Example
Source: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/2025.3/youtrack-markdown-syntax-issues.html
Lines indented with four or more spaces are automatically formatted as indented code blocks.
```markdown
    This is an indented code block.
    It preserves whitespace.
```
--------------------------------
### Use Wildcard for Attribute Value Suffix
Source: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/2025.3/search-for-articles.html
Finds articles with tags that start with a specific prefix, matching any characters that follow.
```text
tag: refactoring*
```
--------------------------------
### Inline and Reference Links in Markdown
Source: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/2025.3/youtrack-markdown-syntax-issues.html
Shows how to create inline links with and without tooltips, and reference-style links.
```markdown
[inline link](https://www.jetbrains.com)
[inline link with tooltip](https://www.jetbrains.com "JetBrains: Development Tools for Professionals and Teams")
