### Create a Simple Report

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/getting-started.html

This snippet demonstrates the basic setup for creating a report using FastReportBuilder. It includes adding columns, setting a title and subtitle, and generating the report with a data source.

```java
FastReportBuilder drb = new FastReportBuilder();
DynamicReport dr = drb.addColumn("State", "state", String.class.getName(),30)
.addColumn("Branch", "branch", String.class.getName(),30)
.addColumn("Product Line", "productLine", String.class.getName(),50)
.addColumn("Item", "item", String.class.getName(),50)
.addColumn("Item Code", "id", Long.class.getName(),30,true)
.addColumn("Quantity", "quantity", Long.class.getName(),60,true)
.addColumn("Amount", "amount", Float.class.getName(),70,true)
.addGroups(2)
.setTitle("November 2006 sales report")
.setSubtitle("This report was generated at " + new Date())
.setPrintBackgroundOnOddRows(true)
.setUseFullPageWidth(true)
.build();
JRDataSource ds = new JRBeanCollectionDataSource(TestRepositoryProducts.getDummyCollection());
JasperPrint jp = DynamicJasperHelper.generateJasperPrint(dr, new ClassicLayoutManager(), ds);
JasperViewer.viewReport(jp);    //finally display the report report
```

### Configure Multi-Column Report Layout

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-create-a-report-with-columns-like-the-telephone-guide

Use `setColumnsPerPage` to define the number of columns and the space between them for a multi-column report layout. This is useful for creating reports that resemble a telephone guide.

```java
FastReportBuilder drb = new FastReportBuilder();
drb.addColumn("State", "state", String.class.getName(),30)
.addColumn("Branch", "branch", String.class.getName(),30)
.addColumn("Item", "item", String.class.getName(),50)
.addColumn("Amount", "amount", Float.class.getName(),60,true)
.addGroups(2)
.setTitle("November 2006 sales report")
.setSubtitle("This report was generated at " + new Date())
.setColumnsPerPage(2,10)        //number of columns and space between columns
.setUseFullPageWidth(true);
DynamicReport dr = drb.build();
```

### Add General Label to Group Footer Variables

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/add-labels-in-group-header-and-footer.html

Utilize the setFooterLabel method with a DJGroupLabel to display a general label at the left of group footer variables. This example adds a 'Subtotal' label.

```java
DJGroupLabel glabel3 = new DJGroupLabel("Subtotal"  ,glabelStyle2);
DJGroup g1 = gb1.setCriteriaColumn((PropertyColumn) columnState)
.addFooterVariable(columnAmount,DJCalculation.SUM,headerVariablesStyle) // tell the group place a variable footer of the column "columnAmount" with the SUM of allvalues of the columnAmount in this group.
.addFooterVariable(columnaQuantity,DJCalculation.SUM,headerVariablesStyle) // idem for the columnaQuantity column
.setGroupLayout(GroupLayout.VALUE_IN_HEADER) // tells the group how to be shown, there are manyposibilities, see the GroupLayout for more.
.setFooterLabel(glabel3)
.setFooterVariablesHeight(new Integer(30))
.build();
```

--------------------------------

### Hide Column using GroupLayout.VALUE_IN_HEADER_WITH_HEADERS

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-hide-a-column.html

This example shows how to hide a column using GroupLayout.VALUE_IN_HEADER_WITH_HEADERS. It configures the DynamicReportBuilder to not print column names and uses default layout for a second group.

```java
  * DynamicReportBuilder uses `setPrintColumnNames(false)`
  * Group 1 uses `GroupLayout.VALUE_IN_HEADER_WITH_HEADERS`
  * Group 2 uses `GroupLayout.DEFAULT`
  * Column _State_ has a _Style_ for the detail with a bigger font
```

--------------------------------

### Add Labels to Group Header Variables

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/add-labels-in-group-header-and-footer.html

Use DJGroupLabel with overloaded addHeaderVariable to associate custom labels with group variables in the header. This example demonstrates adding 'Total amount' and 'Total quantity' labels.

```java
DJGroupLabel glabel1 = new DJGroupLabel("Total amount",glabelStyle);
DJGroupLabel glabel2 = new DJGroupLabel("Total quantity",glabelStyle);
//               define the criteria column to group by (columnState)
DJGroup g1 = gb1.setCriteriaColumn((PropertyColumn) columnState)
.setHeaderHeight(new Integer(30))
.addHeaderVariable(columnAmount,DJCalculation.SUM,headerVariables, null, glabel1) // tell the group place a variable footer of the column "columnAmount" with the SUM of all values of the columnAmount in this group.
.addHeaderVariable(columnaQuantity,DJCalculation.SUM,headerVariables, null, glabel2) // idem for the columnaQuantity column
.setGroupLayout(GroupLayout.VALUE_IN_HEADER) // tells the group how to be shown, there are manyposibilities, see the GroupLayout for more.
.build();
```

--------------------------------

### Configure Report Options and Columns

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/getting-started.html

Use DynamicReportBuilder to set report properties like title, subtitle, detail height, margins, styles, and columns per page. Then, use ColumnBuilder to define individual columns with properties, titles, widths, and optional patterns or styles. Finally, add columns to the builder and generate the report.

```java
DynamicReportBuilder drb = new DynamicReportBuilder();
drb.setTitle("November 2006 sales report")		//defines the title of the report
.setSubtitle("The items in this report correspond "
+"to the main products: DVDs, Books, Foods and Magazines")
.setDetailHeight(15)		//defines the height for each record of the report
.setMargins(30, 20, 30, 15)		//define the margin space for each side (top, bottom, left and right)
.setDefaultStyles(titleStyle, subtitleStyle, headerStyle, detailStyle)
.setColumnsPerPage(1);		//defines columns per page (like in the telephone guide)
/**
* Note that we still didn't call the build() method
**/
/**
* Column definitions. We use a new ColumnBuilder instance for each
* column, the ColumnBuilder.getNew() method returns a new instance
* of the builder
*/
AbstractColumn columnState = ColumnBuilder.getNew()		//creates a new instance of a ColumnBuilder
.setColumnProperty("state", String.class.getName())		//defines the field of the data source that this column will show, also its type
.setTitle("State")		//the title for the column
.setWidth(85)		//the width of the column
.build();		//builds and return a new AbstractColumn
//Create more columns
AbstractColumn columnBranch = ColumnBuilder.getNew()
.setColumnProperty("branch", String.class.getName())
.setTitle("Branch").setWidth(85)
.build();
AbstractColumn columnaProductLine = ColumnBuilder.getNew()
.setColumnProperty("productLine", String.class.getName())
.setTitle("Product Line").setWidth(85)
.build();
AbstractColumn columnaItem = ColumnBuilder.getNew()
.setColumnProperty("item", String.class.getName())
.setTitle("Item").setWidth(85)
.build();
AbstractColumn columnCode = ColumnBuilder.getNew()
.setColumnProperty("id", Long.class.getName())
.setTitle("ID").setWidth(40)
.build();
AbstractColumn columnaCantidad = ColumnBuilder.getNew()
.setColumnProperty("quantity", Long.class.getName())
.setTitle("Quantity").setWidth(80)
.build();
AbstractColumn columnAmount = ColumnBuilder.getNew()
.setColumnProperty("amount", Float.class.getName())
.setTitle("Amount").setWidth(90)
.setPattern("$ 0.00")		//defines a pattern to apply to the values swhown (uses TextFormat)
.setStyle(amountStyle)		//special style for this column (align right)
.build();
/**
* We add the columns to the report (through the builder) in the order
* we want them to appear
*/
drb.addColumn(columnState);
drb.addColumn(columnBranch);
drb.addColumn(columnaProductLine);
drb.addColumn(columnaItem);
drb.addColumn(columnCode);
drb.addColumn(columnaCantidad);
drb.addColumn(columnAmount);
/**
* add some more options to the report (through the builder)
*/
drb.setUseFullPageWidth(true);  //we tell the report to use the full width of the page. this rezises
//the columns width proportionally to meat the page width.
DynamicReport dr = drb.build(); //Finally build the report!
JRDataSource ds = new JRBeanCollectionDataSource(TestRepositoryProducts.getDummyCollection());    //Create a JRDataSource, the Collection used
//here contains dummy hardcoded objects...
JasperPrint jp = DynamicJasperHelper.generateJasperPrint(dr, new ClassicLayoutManager(), ds);    //Creates the JasperPrint object, we pass as a Parameter
//the DynamicReport, a new ClassicLayoutManager instance (this
//one does the magic) and the JRDataSource
JasperViewer.viewReport(jp); //finally display the report report
```

--------------------------------

### Helper Method for Time Formatting

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-create-variables-and-define-specific-behavior.html

A utility method to convert a duration in seconds into a 'minutes' seconds' format.

```java
public static String getAsMinutes(Long value) {
    Long amount = (Long) value;
    int sec = amount.intValue() % 60;
    int mins = amount.intValue() / 60;
    return mins + "' " + sec + """;
}
```

--------------------------------

### Combined Grouping Layouts

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/grouping-styles.html

Demonstrates using different grouping layouts for multiple groups within a single report. Group 1 uses VALUE_IN_HEADER_WITH_HEADERS, and Group 2 uses VALUE_IN_HEADER.

```java
drb.setPrintColumnNames(false); // Because every group break will add its own headers
// Group 1 uses VALUE_IN_HEADER_WITH_HEADERS layout
// Group 2 uses VALUE_IN_HEADER layout
```

--------------------------------

### Add Header and Footer using Custom Template Parameters

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-add-header-andor-footer-to-a-report.html

This snippet demonstrates how to add header and footer content to a report by defining parameters in a custom template and passing them to the JasperPrint generation. Ensure your template uses text fields for header and footer that are bound to parameters like $P{header} and $P{footer}.

```java
DynamicReportBuilder drb = new DynamicReportBuilder();
//ReportBuilder initialization
drb.addTemplateFile("pathToTemplate/TemplateName.jrxml");
//Assuming you added $P{header} and $P{footer} as content for the textfields used as header and footer,
//you must add their content:
Map parameters = new HashMap();
params.put("header","<my header message>");
params.put("footer","<my footer message>");
//Creates the JasperPrint, using the parameters map
JasperPrint jp = DynamicJasperHelper.generateJasperPrint(dr, new ClassicLayoutManager(), ds, parameters );
```

--------------------------------

### Add Group with Footer Variables and Layout

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/getting-started.html

Defines a group with criteria on a specific column, adds SUM variables for specified columns to the group's footer, and sets a default layout for the group. This allows for aggregated data display within each group.

```java
GroupBuilder gb1 = new GroupBuilder();
ColumnsGroup g1 = gb1.addCriteriaColumn((PropertyColumn) columnState)        //define the criteria column to group by (columnState)
.addFooterVariable(columnAmount,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM)        //tell the group place a variable in the footer
//of the column "columnAmount" with the SUM of all
//values of the columnAmount in this group.
    .addFooterVariable(columnaQuantity,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM)    //idem for the columnaQuantity column
    .setGroupLayout(GroupLayout.DEFAULT_WITH_HEADER)                //tells the group how to be shown, there are many
                                                                            //posibilities, see the GroupLayout class for more.
    .build();
GroupBuilder gb2 = new GroupBuilder();                                        //Create another group (using another column as criteria)
ColumnsGroup g2 = gb2.setCriteriaColumn((PropertyColumn) columnBranch)        //and we add the same operations for the columnAmount and
    .addFooterVariable(columnAmount,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM)        //columnaQuantity columns
    .addFooterVariable(columnaQuantity,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM)
    .build();
//then we add the groups to the report (through the builder)
        drb.addGroup(g1);    //add group g1
        drb.addGroup(g2);    //add group g2
```

--------------------------------

### Default With Header Group Layout

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/grouping-styles.html

Uses the default layout with headers printed on each group break. Column names are not printed at the top of the page as each group provides its own header.

```java
drb.setPrintColumnNames(false);
ColumnsGroup g1 = gb1.setCriteriaColumn((PropertyColumn) columnState)
.addFooterVariable(columnAmount,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.addFooterVariable(columnaQuantity,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.setGroupLayout(GroupLayout.DEFAULT_WITH_HEADER)
.build();
```

--------------------------------

### Default Group Layout

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/grouping-styles.html

Applies the default grouping layout. Column names are printed at the top of each page. Totals for the group are calculated on each group break.

```java
drb.setPrintColumnNames(true);
ColumnsGroup g1 = gb1.setCriteriaColumn((PropertyColumn) columnState)
.addFooterVariable(columnAmount,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.addFooterVariable(columnaQuantity,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.setGroupLayout(GroupLayout.DEFAULT)
.build();
```

--------------------------------

### Hide Column using GroupLayout.VALUE_IN_HEADER

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-hide-a-column.html

This snippet demonstrates hiding a column by setting its GroupLayout to VALUE_IN_HEADER. It also shows how to configure column names printing and add footer variables for grouped columns.

```java
drb.setPrintColumnNames(true); //Show the column names on the top of every page
ColumnsGroup g1 = gb1.addCriteriaColumn((PropertyColumn) columnState)
                .addFooterVariable(columnAmount, ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM)
                .addFooterVariable(columnaQuantity,     ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM) // idem for the columnaQuantity column
                .setGroupLayout(GroupLayout.VALUE_IN_HEADER) // tells the group how to be shown, there are many posibilities, see the GroupLayout for more.
                .build();
GroupBuilder gb2 = new GroupBuilder(); // Create another group (using another column as criteria)
ColumnsGroup g2 = gb2.addCriteriaColumn((PropertyColumn) columnBranch) // and we add the same operations for the columnAmount and
                .addFooterVariable(columnAmount,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM) // columnaQuantity columns
                .addFooterVariable(columnaQuantity,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM)
                .setGroupLayout(GroupLayout.DEFAULT) // tells the group how to be shown, there are many posibilities, see the GroupLayout for more.
                .build();
```

--------------------------------

### Specify Resource Bundle for Translation

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-create-autotext-ie-page-xy-out-of-the-box.html

This snippet shows how to specify a custom resource bundle for internationalizing autotext messages. Ensure the specified bundle is in the classpath.

```java
drb.addResourceBundle("other_messages");
```

--------------------------------

### Define Column with Custom Expressions

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-create-variables-and-define-specific-behavior.html

Set custom expressions for displaying data and for calculations when building a column.

```java
AbstractColumn columnaCustomExpression = ColumnBuilder.getNew()
.setCustomExpression(getCustomExpression())
.setCustomExpressionForCalculation(getCustomExpression2())
.setTitle("Duration").setWidth(new Integer(90))
.setStyle(amountStyle).setHeaderStyle(headerStyle).build();
```

--------------------------------

### Custom DJValueFormatter Implementation

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-create-variables-and-define-specific-behavior.html

Implement DJValueFormatter to define how a value is formatted for display, including custom prefixes.

```java
private DJValueFormatter getValueFormatter() {
    return new DJValueFormatter(){
        public Object evaluate(Object value, Map fields, Map variables, Map parameters) {
                return "Total time: " + getAsMinutes((Long) value);
        }
        public String getClassName() {
                return String.class.getName();
        }
    };
}
```

--------------------------------

### Add Creation Time Autotext

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-create-autotext-ie-page-xy-out-of-the-box.html

This snippet adds the creation timestamp to the report footer, allowing for custom date and time formatting. It includes the autotext type, position, alignment, and a date pattern.

```java
drb.addAutoText(AutoText.AUTOTEXT_CREATED_ON,
AutoText.POSITION_FOOTER, AutoText.ALIGNMENT_LEFT,
AutoText.PATTERN_DATE_DATE_TIME);
```

--------------------------------

### Empty Group Layout

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/grouping-styles.html

Hides the column used for grouping criteria while still displaying totals for that group on each break. Column names are printed at the top of each page.

```java
drb.setPrintColumnNames(true);
ColumnsGroup g1 = gb1.setCriteriaColumn((PropertyColumn) columnState)
.addFooterVariable(columnAmount,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.addFooterVariable(columnaQuantity,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.setGroupLayout(GroupLayout.EMPTY)
.build();
```

--------------------------------

### Hide Column using GroupLayout.VALUE_IN_HEADER_WITH_HEADERS_AND_COLUMN_NAME

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-hide-a-column.html

This snippet demonstrates hiding a column with GroupLayout.VALUE_IN_HEADER_WITH_HEADERS_AND_COLUMN_NAME, showing the column name before the current value. It also includes settings for column width and styles.

```java
  * DynamicReportBuilder uses `setPrintColumnNames(false)`
  * Group 1 uses `GroupLayout.VALUE_IN_HEADER_WITH_HEADERS_AND_COLUMN_NAME`
  * Group 2 uses `GroupLayout.DEFAULT`
  * Column _State_ has a _Style_ for the detail with a bigger font, and a _Style_ for the header. Also, the width is 40
```

--------------------------------

### Value For Each With Headers Group Layout

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/grouping-styles.html

Repeats the grouping criteria value on each row and prints headers on every group break. Column names are not printed at the top of the page.

```java
drb.setPrintColumnNames(false);
ColumnsGroup g1 = gb1.setCriteriaColumn((PropertyColumn) columnState)
.addFooterVariable(columnAmount,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.addFooterVariable(columnaQuantity,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.setGroupLayout(GroupLayout.VALUE_FOR_EACH_WITH_HEADERS)
.build();
```

--------------------------------

### VALUE_IN_HEADER_WITH_HEADERS_AND_COLUMN_NAME Layout

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/grouping-styles.html

Hides the grouping column, printing its value before headers at each group break. This layout also uses the column width attribute for the title and allows custom header styles.

```java
drb.setPrintColumnNames(false); // "drb" is the DynamicReportBuilder
columnState.setStyle(titleStyle); //Give a special style to the grouping column detail (bigger font)
columnState.setHeaderStyle(titleStyle); //Give a special style to the grouping column tile (bigger font)
columnState.setWidth(new Integer(85));
ColumnsGroup g1 = gb1.setCriteriaColumn((PropertyColumn) columnState)
.addFooterVariable(columnAmount,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.addFooterVariable(columnaQuantity,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.setGroupLayout(GroupLayout.VALUE_IN_HEADER_WITH_HEADERS_AND_COLUMN_NAME) // set layout style
.build();
```

--------------------------------

### Custom Expression for Display

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-create-variables-and-define-specific-behavior.html

Implement CustomExpression to define how data is evaluated and presented in the report column.

```java
private CustomExpression getCustomExpression() {
    return new CustomExpression() {
        public Object evaluate(Map fields, Map variables, Map parameters) {
            Long amount = (Long) fields.get("quantity");
            return getAsMinutes((Long) amount);
        }
        public String getClassName() {
            return String.class.getName();
        }
    };
}
```

--------------------------------

### Value For Each Group Layout

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/grouping-styles.html

Repeats the grouping criteria value on each row within the group. Column names are printed at the top of each page.

```java
drb.setPrintColumnNames(true);
ColumnsGroup g1 = gb1.setCriteriaColumn((PropertyColumn) columnState)
.addFooterVariable(columnAmount,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.addFooterVariable(columnaQuantity,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.setGroupLayout(GroupLayout.VALUE_FOR_EACH)
.build();
```

--------------------------------

### VALUE_IN_HEADER_WITH_HEADERS Layout

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/grouping-styles.html

Hides the grouping column, printing its current value just before the headers at each group break. Set printColumnNames to false as headers are automatically added.

```java
drb.setPrintColumnNames(false); // "drb" is the DynamicReportBuilder
columnState.setStyle(titleStyle); //Give a special style to the grouping column (bigger font)
ColumnsGroup g1 = gb1.setCriteriaColumn((PropertyColumn) columnState)
.addFooterVariable(columnAmount,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.addFooterVariable(columnaQuantity,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.setGroupLayout(GroupLayout.VALUE_IN_HEADER_WITH_HEADERS) // set layout style
.build();
```

--------------------------------

### Add Group Footer with Global Variable

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-create-variables-and-define-specific-behavior.html

Add a global footer variable to a report group, specifying the calculation type and value formatter.

```java
drb.addGlobalFooterVariable(columnaCustomExpression, DJCalculation.SUM,amountStyle, getValueFormatter());
```

--------------------------------

### Custom Expression for Calculation

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-create-variables-and-define-specific-behavior.html

Implement CustomExpression to define the raw value used for calculations, distinct from display formatting.

```java
private CustomExpression getCustomExpression2() {
    return new CustomExpression() {
        public Object evaluate(Map fields, Map variables, Map parameters) {
            return fields.get("quantity");
        }
        public String getClassName() {
                return Long.class.getName();
        }
    };
}
```

--------------------------------

### Add Basic Group to Report

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/getting-started.html

Adds a basic group to the DynamicReportBuilder using a specified column as the grouping criteria. This is the initial step before adding variables or custom layouts.

```java
GroupBuilder gb1 = new GroupBuilder();
ColumnsGroup g1 = gb1.addCriteriaColumn((PropertyColumn) columnState).build();
drb.addGroup(g1);              //add the group to the DynamicReportBuilder
```

--------------------------------

### Maven Dependency for DynamicJasper

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper

Add this dependency to your Maven project to include the DynamicJasper library. Check Maven Central for the latest version.

```xml
<dependency>
    <groupId>ar.com.fdvs</groupId>
    <artifactId>DynamicJasper</artifactId>
    <version>5.3.9</version>
</dependency>
```

--------------------------------

### Setting Colspan Header in DynamicJasper

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-create-colspan-headers

Use the `setColspan` method to make a header span across multiple columns. This is useful for grouping related columns under a single descriptive header.

```java
DynamicReportBuilder drb = new DynamicReportBuilder();
...
AbstractColumn columnPercentageAmount = ColumnBuilder.getNew()
        .setPercentageColumn((PropertyColumn) columnAmount)
        .setTitle("Amount [%]").setWidth(new Integer(90))
        .setStyle(amountStyle).setHeaderStyle(headerStyle).build();
...
drb.addColumn(columnState);
drb.addColumn(columnBranch);
drb.addColumn(columnaItem);
drb.addColumn(columnaCantidad);
drb.addColumn(columnAmount);
drb.addColumn(columnPercentageAmount)
//Here set the colspan.
dbr.setColspan(2, 2, "Estimated");
...
```

--------------------------------

### VALUE_IN_HEADER Layout

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/grouping-styles.html

Sets the grouping column to be hidden, with its current value printed on a separate line at each group break. Ensure printColumnNames is true if column names are desired.

```java
drb.setPrintColumnNames(true); // "drb" is the DynamicReportBuilder
columnState.setStyle(titleStyle); //Give a special style to the grouping column (bigger font)
ColumnsGroup g1 = gb1.setCriteriaColumn((PropertyColumn) columnState)
.addFooterVariable(columnAmount,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.addFooterVariable(columnaQuantity,ColumnsGroupVariableOperation.SUM,headerVariables)
.setGroupLayout(GroupLayout.VALUE_IN_HEADER) // set layout style
.build();
```

--------------------------------

### Add Custom Text Autotext

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-create-autotext-ie-page-xy-out-of-the-box.html

Use this snippet to add a static, custom text message to the report header. It requires the text content, position, and alignment.

```java
drb.addAutoText("Autotext at top-center",
AutoText.POSITION_HEADER, AutoText.ALIGNMENT_CENTER);
```

--------------------------------

### Add Page Counter Autotext

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-create-autotext-ie-page-xy-out-of-the-box.html

Use this snippet to add a page counter expression (e.g., 'Page X of Y') to the report footer. It specifies the autotext type, position, and alignment.

```java
drb.addAutoText(AutoText.AUTOTEXT_PAGE_X_OF_Y,
AutoText.POSITION_FOOTER, AutoText.ALIGNMENT_LEFT);
```

--------------------------------

### Disable Row Splitting in DynamicJasper

Source: https://intive-fdv.github.io/DynamicJasper/how-to/how-to-avoid-splitting-of-rows.html

Use `setAllowDetailSplit(false)` on the `DynamicReportBuilder` to prevent rows from splitting across pages. This ensures that if a row's content is too large for the remaining space on a page, the entire row will be moved to the next page.

```java
DynamicReportBuilder drb = new DynamicReportBuilder();
...
drb.setAllowDetailSplit(false);
```
