```json
{
  "bins": [
    {
      "binId": "abc123cuid",
### Configure response example: PUT /api/bins/abc123cuid/response
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/rest-api
Example PUT request that configures a custom response for a bin. Sets status 503, JSON content type, a JSON body, a Retry-After header, and a 250ms delay. The body must be a UTF-8 string up to 64 KB; HTML-ish content types are rejected.
```json
PUT /api/bins/abc123cuid/response
{
  "status": 503,
  "contentType": "application/json",
  "body": "{\"error\":\"try again\"}",
  "headers": { "Retry-After": "5" },

curl -X PATCH https://hooks.pixelhop.io/api/bins/abc123cuid \
  -H 'x-api-key: ph_xxxxxxxx' \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
  -d '{"label":"Stripe staging"}'
# { "ok": true }
```
### Consume live stream with EventSource
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/rest-api
Client-side JavaScript example for consuming the live stream endpoint. Creates an EventSource to the stream URL and logs each captured request's data as parsed JSON. The ping events are ignored by default since they are not message events.
```javascript
const es = new EventSource("https://hooks.pixelhop.io/api/bins/abc123cuid/stream");
es.onmessage = (e) => console.log("captured:", JSON.parse(e.data));
```
--------------------------------
### Configure response endpoints: GET/PUT/DELETE /api/bins/:binId/response
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/rest-api
Owner-only endpoints to read, upsert, or clear the custom response configuration. GET returns { "configured": boolean, "config": { ... } }. PUT performs a full replacement. DELETE reverts the capture endpoint to 200 OK. All three require the session cookie or an x-api-key personal access token and return 404 for anyone else.
```http
GET    /api/bins/:binId/response
PUT    /api/bins/:binId/response
DELETE /api/bins/:binId/response
```
--------------------------------
### GET /api/bins/:binId/stream
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/rest-api
Provides a live Server-Sent Events stream of captured requests for a bin. Each request is delivered as a message event with the request summary as data.
```APIDOC
## GET /api/bins/:binId/stream

### Description
Opens a Server-Sent Events stream of the bin's captured requests. Each new request is delivered as a default `message` event whose `data` is the request summary (same shape as the list endpoint). A named `ping` event is sent periodically as a heartbeat and can be ignored. Returns `404` before the stream opens if the bin doesn't exist.

### Method
GET

### Endpoint
/api/bins/:binId/stream

### Parameters
#### Path Parameters
- **binId** (string) - Required - The ID of the bin.

### Response
#### Success Response (200)
A Server-Sent Events stream. Each event's `data` is a request summary object.

#### Error Response (404)
Returned if the bin does not exist.

### Example
```js
const es = new EventSource("https://hooks.pixelhop.io/api/bins/abc123cuid/stream");
es.onmessage = (e) => console.log("captured:", JSON.parse(e.data));
```
```
### Add Pixelhooks MCP server to Claude Code
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/agents/mcp-setup
Use the `claude mcp add` command to register the Pixelhooks MCP server with Claude Code. The server runs via npx and requires no global install.
```bash
claude mcp add pixelhooks -- npx -y @pixelhooks/mcp
```
--------------------------------
### Configure Pixelhooks MCP server in .mcp.json for Claude Code
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/agents/mcp-setup
Add the `mcpServers` block to your project's `.mcp.json` file to configure the Pixelhooks MCP server for Claude Code. The server runs via npx and requires no global install.
```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "pixelhooks": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "@pixelhooks/mcp"]
    }
  }
}
```
--------------------------------
### GET /api/bins/:binId/requests/:requestId/raw
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/rest-api
Downloads the raw body of a captured request as an octet-stream, forcing the content type to prevent script execution. Returns 404 if the request has no body.
```APIDOC
## GET /api/bins/:binId/requests/:requestId/raw

### Description
Returns the stored body bytes as `application/octet-stream` (forced, regardless of the captured content-type, so an attacker-controlled HTML/JS body can't execute). Returns `404` if the request has no body.

### Method
GET

### Endpoint
/api/bins/:binId/requests/:requestId/raw

### Parameters
#### Path Parameters
- **binId** (string) - Required - The ID of the bin.
- **requestId** (string) - Required - The ID of the captured request.

### Response
#### Success Response (200)
Returns the raw body bytes as `application/octet-stream`.

#### Error Response (404)

GET /api/bins/:binId/stream
```
--------------------------------
```bash
curl https://hooks.pixelhop.io/llms.txt
```
--------------------------------
### Create a bin with POST /api/bins
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/rest-api
Creates a new bin. The response contains the bin's id, which doubles as the capture token. The capture URL is the origin plus /h/ and the id, e.g. https://hooks.pixelhop.io/h/abc123cuid.
```http
POST /api/bins
```
```json
{ "id": "abc123cuid", "createdAt": "2026-06-19T09:00:00.000Z" }
```
--------------------------------
### Create a bin with POST /api/bins
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers
Creates a new anonymous bin. The response contains the bin id and creation time. The bin id is a cuid and acts as the only key; anyone with the URL can see the requests.
```bash
curl -X POST https://hooks.pixelhop.io/api/bins
# { "id": "abc123cuid", "createdAt": "2026-06-19T09:00:00.000Z" }

```
--------------------------------
### ANY /h/:binId/*
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/rest-api
Records an incoming request against the bin for any sub-path beneath the bin id. The sub-path is stored as the request's path. Accepts any HTTP method and returns 200 OK with the body 'OK' by default.
```APIDOC
## ANY /h/:binId/*

### Description
Records the incoming request against the bin for any sub-path beneath the bin id. The sub-path is stored as the request's `path` (the bare bin URL records `/`). Accepts any HTTP method.

### Method
ANY

### Endpoint
/h/:binId/*

### Parameters
#### Path Parameters
- **binId** (string) - Required - The unique identifier of the bin to capture the request.
- **sub-path** (string) - Required - The sub-path beneath the bin id; stored as the request's `path`.

### Response
#### Success Response (200)
- **body** (string) - The default response body is `OK`.

#### Response Example
```
OK
```

### Notes
- Requests to a bin id that doesn't exist also return `200 OK` — nothing is stored, and the response doesn't reveal whether the bin exists.
- Each bin keeps only its **most recent 100 requests**. When a new request would exceed the cap, the oldest is dropped.
- Bodies are captured up to **1 MB**. Larger bodies are truncated to the cap and flagged with `truncated: true`; the request is never rejected.
- **Anonymous bins idle-expire after 30 days.** A bin that goes 30 days without receiving a request is purged automatically — its captured requests and any configured response are deleted, and the bin id stops resolving (capture and read both behave as if it never existed). Each captured request resets the countdown. Bins created while signed in are claimed by your account and **never auto-expire**.
```
--------------------------------
### Capture endpoint: ANY /h/:binId and ANY /h/:binId/*
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/rest-api
Capture endpoint for recording requests against a bin. Accepts any HTTP method and any sub-path beneath the bin id; the sub-path is stored as the request's path (the bare bin URL records '/'). By default responds 200 OK with body 'OK'.
```http
ANY /h/:binId
```
```http
ANY /h/:binId/*
```
--------------------------------
### POST /api/bins
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/rest-api
Creates a new bin and returns its id, which doubles as the bin's capture token. The capture URL is the origin plus `/h/` and the id.
```APIDOC
## POST /api/bins

### Description
Creates a new bin and returns its id, which doubles as the bin's capture token. The capture URL is the origin plus `/h/` and the id.

### Method
POST

### Endpoint
/api/bins

### Request Example
(no request body)

### Response
#### Success Response (200)
- **id** (string) - The bin id, also used as the capture token.
- **createdAt** (string) - ISO timestamp of creation.

#### Response Example
{
  "id": "abc123cuid",
  "createdAt": "2026-06-19T09:00:00.000Z"
}
```
--------------------------------
### ANY /h/:binId
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/rest-api
Records an incoming request against the specified bin. Accepts any HTTP method and any sub-path beneath the bin id, storing the sub-path as the request's path. By default returns 200 OK with the body 'OK'.
```APIDOC
## ANY /h/:binId

### Description
Records the incoming request against the bin and, by default, responds `200 OK` with the body `OK`. Accepts any HTTP method and any sub-path beneath the bin id; the sub-path is stored as the request's `path` (the bare bin URL records `/`).

### Method
ANY

### Endpoint
/h/:binId

### Parameters
#### Path Parameters
- **binId** (string) - Required - The unique identifier of the bin to capture the request.

### Response
#### Success Response (200)
- **body** (string) - The default response body is `OK`.

#### Response Example
```
OK
```

```
--------------------------------
### Capture URL format
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers
The capture URL is the origin plus /h/ and the bin id. Use this URL to send requests to the bin.
```text
https://hooks.pixelhop.io/h/abc123cuid

```
--------------------------------
### List requests for a bin with curl
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/quickstart
Lists the bin's requests, newest first. The response is a JSON array of request summaries.
```bash
curl https://hooks.pixelhop.io/api/bins/abc123cuid/requests
```
--------------------------------
### Authenticate with x-api-key header
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/rest-api
Use this header to authenticate with a personal access token (PAT) instead of the session cookie. The token is shown exactly once at creation and is never retrievable again; it expires after about one year.
```http
x-api-key: ph_xxxxxxxx…
```
--------------------------------
### Fetch a single request with curl
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/quickstart
Fetches one request in full, including headers, query, and decoded body.
```bash
curl https://hooks.pixelhop.io/api/bins/abc123cuid/requests/req_1
```
--------------------------------
### Label a bin with PATCH /api/bins/:binId
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/rest-api
Sets or clears a bin's label. Body is `{ "label": "…" }`; empty string, `null`, or omitted label clears it. Max 255 characters. Returns `{ "ok": true }` or `404` if the bin isn't yours.
```http
PATCH /api/bins/:binId
```
--------------------------------
### Send a request to the capture URL
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers
Sends a POST request to the capture URL with a JSON body. The endpoint always replies 200 OK and never rejects a request, so the sender behaves as it would against a real endpoint.
```bash
curl -X POST https://hooks.pixelhop.io/h/abc123cuid/webhooks/stripe \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
  -d '{"event":"payment_intent.succeeded"}'
# OK

```
--------------------------------
### PUT /api/bins/:binId/response
Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/rest-api
Sets or replaces the response configuration for a bin. Owner-only endpoint that accepts a JSON body with status, content type, body, headers, and delay.
```APIDOC
## PUT /api/bins/:binId/response

### Description
Upserts the response configuration for the bin (full replacement). Owner-only: requires the session cookie or an `x-api-key` personal access token of the user who owns the bin. Returns `404` for anyone else so a bin's configuration never leaks.

### Method
PUT

### Endpoint
/api/bins/:binId/response

### Parameters
#### Path Parameters

### Remove a bin with DELETE /api/bins/:binId

Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/rest-api

Removes a bin from your list. This is an unlink, not a destructive delete; the bin and its requests stay readable by id. Returns `{ "ok": true }` or `404` if the bin isn't yours.

```http
DELETE /api/bins/:binId
```

--------------------------------

### DELETE /api/bins/:binId

Source: https://hooks.pixelhop.io/docs/developers/rest-api

Unlinks a bin from the authenticated user's account. The bin remains readable by id but reverts to anonymous idle expiry.

```APIDOC
## DELETE /api/bins/:binId
### Description
Removes the bin from your list. This is an unlink, not a destructive delete — the bin and its captured requests stay readable by id; only the ownership link is dropped. Because the bin is now unowned, it reverts to the 30-day anonymous idle expiry (an owned bin never auto-expires), so an unlinked bin left unused is eventually purged. Returns { "ok": true }, or 404 if the bin isn't yours.
### Method
DELETE
### Endpoint
/api/bins/:binId
### Parameters
#### Path Parameters
- **binId** (string) - Required - The ID of the bin to remove.
### Response
#### Success Response (200)
- **ok** (boolean) - Always true on success.
#### Response Example
{
  "ok": true
}
