### Retrieve Database Password with Default

Source: https://hexdocs.pm/skogsra/2.5.3/Skogsra.html

This example shows how `app_env` generates functions to retrieve a database password. It demonstrates the default value retrieval and the naming convention for generated functions.

```elixir
app_env :db_password, :myapp, [:mydb, :password],
  default: "password",
```

### Retrieve Namespaced Database Password

Source: https://hexdocs.pm/skogsra/2.5.3/Skogsra.html

Illustrates retrieving a namespaced database password, showing how the OS environment variables and configuration files are checked with a specific namespace like 'Test'.

```elixir
config :myapp, Test,
  mydb: [password: "some test password"]
```

--------------------------------

### Define Application Environment Variable

Source: https://hexdocs.pm/skogsra/2.5.3/Skogsra.html

Use this macro within a module to define an application environment variable. It sets up functions to retrieve the variable's value, with options for defaults, types, and OS environment variable overrides.

```elixir
defmodule MyApp.Settings do
  use Skogsra
  @envdoc "My hostname"
  app_env :my_hostname, :myapp, :hostname,
    default: "localhost"
end
```
