Source: https://help.seequent.com/Geo/2026.1/en-GB/Content/calcsfilters/catalogue.htm

Returns a pseudo-random whole number between the start and end values (inclusive). The seed can be set to reproduce the same series of random numbers.

```APIDOC
## random_integer(start, end, seed)
### Description
Returns a pseudo-random whole number between the start and end values (inclusive). The seed can be set to reproduce the same series of random numbers.
### Parameters
- **start** (number) - Required - The lower bound of the range (inclusive).
- **end** (number) - Required - The upper bound of the range (inclusive).
- **seed** (number) - Required - The seed value for the pseudo-random number generator. Using the same seed produces the same series of numbers.
### Usage Notes
- When added to a calculation, the default seed is set to a number related to the exact time the function was added.
- Changing the seed produces a different series of random values.
- Each row will get three new columns identified as rand_int1, rand_int2, and rand_int3.
- If the same seed is used for two columns, they will be identical.
