### Node.js/Express Webhook Integration Example

Source: https://help.podplay.app/en/articles/7506689

This example demonstrates how to set up a webhook endpoint using Node.js and Express to receive and process events from PodPlay. It includes basic error handling and response logic.

```javascript
const express = require('express');
const bodyParser = require('body-parser');
const app = express();
const port = 3000;
// Use body-parser to parse JSON request bodies
app.use(bodyParser.json());
// Webhook endpoint
app.post('/webhook', (req, res) => {
  const eventType = req.headers['x-event-type'];
  const eventId = req.headers['x-event-id'];
  const payload = req.body;
  console.log(`Received event: ${eventType} (ID: ${eventId})`);
  console.log('Payload:', JSON.stringify(payload, null, 2));
  // Process the event based on its type
  switch (eventType) {
    case 'user.created':
      // Handle user created event
      console.log('Handling user.created event...');
      break;
    case 'purchase.created':
      // Handle purchase created event
      console.log('Handling purchase.created event...');
      break;
    // Add cases for other event types
    default:
      console.log(`Unhandled event type: ${eventType}`);
  }
  // Respond with 200 OK to acknowledge receipt
  res.sendStatus(200);
});
// Start the server
app.listen(port, () => {
  console.log(`Webhook server listening on port ${port}`);
});
### Python/Flask Webhook Integration Example
Source: https://help.podplay.app/en/articles/7506689
This example shows how to create a webhook receiver using Python and the Flask framework. It handles incoming POST requests, extracts event information from headers and the body, and logs the details.
```python
from flask import Flask, request, jsonify

app = Flask(__name__)

@app.route('/webhook', methods=['POST'])
def webhook():
    event_type = request.headers.get('X-Event-Type')
    event_id = request.headers.get('X-Event-ID')
    payload = request.get_json()

    print(f"Received event: {event_type} (ID: {event_id})")
    print(f"Payload: {payload}")

    # Process the event based on its type
    if event_type == 'user.created':
        # Handle user created event
        print('Handling user.created event...')
    elif event_type == 'purchase.created':
        # Handle purchase created event
        print('Handling purchase.created event...')
    # Add cases for other event types
    else:
        print(f"Unhandled event type: {event_type}")

    # Respond with 200 OK to acknowledge receipt
    return jsonify({'status': 'success'}), 200

if __name__ == '__main__':
    app.run(port=5000, debug=True)
