### INDEX Function Example

Source: https://help.magentrix.com/wikis/help/configuring-magentrix-entity-formula-fields

Searches for the first argument (e.g., '@') within the second argument (e.g., an 'Email' field), starting from the position specified by the third argument (e.g., 1). Returns the starting position if found.

```Formula
INDEX("@", Email, 1)
```

### Complete Marketo Form Integration with PartnerTrack Initialization (JavaScript)

Source: https://help.magentrix.com/wikis/help/developer-guide-implementing-partner-track

Provides a comprehensive example of loading a Marketo form after ensuring PartnerTrack is initialized. It includes handling form submission and success events, constructing full names, and triggering PartnerTrack signup attribution. This example demonstrates a more robust integration pattern.

```javascript
function onInitPartnerTracker(tracker) {
  console.log('PartnerTrack initialized, loading Marketo form...');
}
MktoForms2.loadForm("//app-ab12.marketo.com", "123-ABC-456", 1234, function(form) {
  form.onSubmit(function() {
    console.log('Marketo form submitted, triggering PartnerTrack...');
    var formData = form.vals();
    var fullName = (formData.FirstName || "") + " " + (formData.LastName || "");
    fullName = fullName.trim();
    mgxPartnerTrack.trackSignup({
      name: fullName,
      email: formData.Email,
      customerKey: formData.Email,
      company: formData.Company || "",
      phone: formData.Phone || "",
      LeadSource: "Partner Referral"
    });
    return true;
  });
  form.onSuccess(function(values, followUpUrl) {
    console.log('Marketo form submission successful');
    return true;
  });
});
```

### Formula Syntax Examples

Source: https://help.magentrix.com/wikis/help/understanding-functions

Demonstrates the incremental building of a formula, starting with a basic condition and adding complexity. This approach helps in testing and verifying each step.

```Formula
{!IsNull(Email)}
```

```Formula
{!AND(IsNull(Email),IsNull(Phone))}
```

```Formula
{!AND(Equal(Type,"Customer"),AND(IsNull(Email),IsNull(Phone)))}
```

--------------------------------

### SUBSTRING Function Example

Source: https://help.magentrix.com/wikis/help/configuring-magentrix-entity-formula-fields

Extracts a portion of a string ('expr') starting at a specified position ('start') for a given number of characters ('length'). Example extracts the first 3 characters of a name.

```Formula
SUBSTRING(Name, 1, 3)
```

### Implement PartnerTrack.js Initialization Callback

Source: https://help.magentrix.com/wikis/help/troubleshooting-referral-links-attribution

This JavaScript example shows how to correctly implement the `onInitPartnerTracker` callback function. All integration code that relies on the `mgxPartnerTrack` object should be placed within this callback to ensure the script has fully initialized.

```javascript
function onInitPartnerTracker(tracker) {
  // This code executes only after PartnerTrack.js has loaded and initialized.
  console.log("PartnerTrack.js has successfully initialized.");
  // Example of using the tracker object:
  // tracker.setPartnerId('YOUR_PARTNER_ID');
  // tracker.trackPageView();
}
// Ensure this callback is defined before PartnerTrack.js is loaded, or that PartnerTrack.js
// is configured to call a globally available function with this name.
```

### Merge Field Syntax Examples

Source: https://help.magentrix.com/wikis/help/understanding-merge-fields

Demonstrates the difference between full and simplified syntax for merge fields. Full syntax explicitly includes the entity name, while simplified syntax omits it when the context is clear. Both achieve the same result.

```text
{!Contact.Firstname}
{!Account.Name}
{!Opportunity.Amount}
{!Firstname}
{!Name}
{!Amount}
```
