### Install and Run Graphify

Source: https://graphify.net/index.html

Installs Graphify and demonstrates how to build a knowledge graph for a project folder. Outputs are saved in the graphify-out directory.

```bash
# Requires Python 3.10+
pip install graphifyy && graphify install
# Build a knowledge graph for any project folder
/graphify ./raw
# Outputs land in graphify-out/
graphify-out/
├── graph.html        # interactive visualization
├── GRAPH_REPORT.md   # core nodes, surprises, suggested questions
├── graph.json        # persistent, queryable graph
└── cache/            # incremental cache
```

Install the Graphify package using pip. Ensure you have Python 3.10+.

```bash
pip install graphifyy
```

--------------------------------

### Install Always-On Assistant Integrations

Installs integrations for specific AI coding assistants, including necessary hooks and configuration files.

```bash
graphify claude install            # CLAUDE.md + PreToolUse hook (Claude Code)
```

```bash
graphify codex install             # AGENTS.md (Codex)
```bash
graphify droid install # AGENTS.md (Factory Droid)
```
--------------------------------
### Install Graphify and Claude Integration
Source: https://graphify.net/graphify-claude-code-integration.html
Install the Graphify Python package and then run the command to integrate it with Claude Code within your project. This sets up CLAUDE.md and a PreToolUse hook.
```bash
pip install graphifyy
graphify install
graphify claude install # from inside your project
```
--------------------------------
### Install Graphify Git Hooks
Source: https://graphify.net/graphify-claude-code-integration.html
Install Git hooks to automatically rebuild the knowledge graph after every commit and branch switch. This ensures the graph remains fresh.
```bash
graphify hook install
```
--------------------------------
### Manage Git Hooks for Graph Updates
Source: https://graphify.net/graphify-cli-commands.html
Installs, uninstalls, or checks the status of Git hooks that automate graph rebuilding on code changes.
```bash
graphify hook install              # post-commit + post-checkout rebuild
```
```bash
graphify hook uninstall
```
```bash
graphify hook status
```
--------------------------------
### Build Graph from Current or Specific Directory
Source: https://graphify.net/graphify-cli-commands.html
Initiates graph building process. Can be run on the current directory or a specified folder.
```bash
/graphify # run on current directory
```
```bash
/graphify ./raw                    # run on a specific folder
```
--------------------------------
### Build Graph with Advanced Options
Source: https://graphify.net/graphify-cli-commands.html
Builds the graph with options for deeper analysis, updating existing graphs, or focusing on specific processes like clustering or visualization.
```bash
/graphify ./raw --mode deep # more aggressive INFERRED edges
```
```bash
/graphify ./raw --update # re-extract changed files, merge into existing graph
```
```bash
/graphify ./raw --cluster-only     # rerun clustering on existing graph, no re-extraction
```
```bash
/graphify ./raw --no-viz           # skip HTML, produce report + JSON only
```
```bash
/graphify ./raw --watch            # auto-sync as files change
```
--------------------------------
### Terminal Commands for Graph Querying
Source: https://graphify.net/graphify-cli-commands.html
Demonstrates how to execute graph querying commands directly from the terminal without an AI assistant.
```bash
graphify query "what connects attention to the optimizer?"
```
```bash
graphify query "show the auth flow" --dfs
```
```bash
graphify query "..." --graph path/to/graph.json
```
--------------------------------
### Graphify Integration Mechanisms by Platform
Source: https://graphify.net/graphify-claude-code-integration.html
This table outlines the commands and mechanisms used to integrate Graphify with various AI coding assistants, highlighting differences between Claude Code and other platforms.
```markdown
Platform| Command| Mechanism
---|---|---
Claude Code| `graphify claude install`| `CLAUDE.md` + `PreToolUse` hook
Codex| `graphify codex install`| `AGENTS.md`
OpenCode| `graphify opencode install`| `AGENTS.md`
OpenClaw| `graphify claw install`| `AGENTS.md`
Factory Droid| `graphify droid install`| `AGENTS.md`
```
--------------------------------
### Explain a Node in the Graph
Source: https://graphify.net/graphify-cli-commands.html
Retrieves all information Graphify has about a specific node.
```bash
/graphify explain "SwinTransformer" # everything Graphify knows about a node
```
--------------------------------
### Run Graphify in Watch Mode
Source: https://graphify.net/graphify-claude-code-integration.html
Execute Graphify in watch mode to trigger an instant AST-only rebuild upon code saves. For doc/image changes, manual updates are notified.
```bash
/graphify ./raw --watch
```
--------------------------------
### Query Graph for Connections
Source: https://graphify.net/graphify-cli-commands.html
Queries the graph to find relationships between concepts or nodes. Supports different query modes like DFS and budget capping.
```bash
/graphify query "what connects attention to the optimizer?"
```
```bash
/graphify query "..." --dfs                # trace a specific path
```
```bash
/graphify query "..." --budget 1500        # cap tokens returned
```
--------------------------------
### Export Graph Data in Various Formats
Source: https://graphify.net/graphify-cli-commands.html
Exports the graph data into different formats suitable for documentation, visualization tools, or databases.
```bash
/graphify ./raw --wiki             # Wikipedia-style markdown per community
```
```bash
/graphify ./raw --obsidian # generate an Obsidian vault
```
```bash
/graphify ./raw --svg              # export graph.svg
```
```bash
/graphify ./raw --graphml          # export graph.graphml (Gephi, yEd)
```
```bash
/graphify ./raw --neo4j            # generate cypher.txt
```
```bash
/graphify ./raw --neo4j-push bolt://localhost:7687   # push to a live Neo4j instance
```
```bash
/graphify ./raw --mcp # start MCP stdio server
```
--------------------------------
### Add External Sources to Graph
Fetches and adds external content like web articles or social media posts to the graph. Supports tagging original authors or contributors.
```bash
/graphify add https://arxiv.org/abs/1706.03762        # fetch a paper
```
```bash
/graphify add https://x.com/karpathy/status/...       # fetch a tweet
