### Simple Date Transformation

Source: https://easycsv.io/docs/virtual-fields

Transform date formats using `transform_datetime`. The `starting_format` must be one of `mmddyyyy`, `ddmmyyyy`, or `yyyymmdd`. The `desired_format` uses strftime syntax.

```EasyCSV
transform_datetime("{COLVF}", starting_format, desired_format)
```

```EasyCSV
transform_datetime("25/10/2024", 'mmddyyyy', '%-m/%-d/%Y') = "10/25/2024"
```

```EasyCSV
transform_datetime("25/10/2024", 'mmddyyyy', '%A') = "Sunday"
```

--------------------------------

### Import CSV via API Webhook

Basic result_string_from_btoa_command
```
--------------------------------
### Conditional Logic with IF Statement
Source: https://easycsv.io/docs/virtual-fields
Implement simple conditional logic to return one value if a condition is true, and another if false. Supports logical operators like AND and OR.
```EasyCSV Equations
if ({COLVF} < 10, 10, 20) <- IF {COLVF} is 5, then this value would be 10
IF {COLVF} is 15, then this value would be 20
```
```EasyCSV Equations
if ({COLVF} > 2 and {COLVF} < 10, "cheap", "expensive")
```
```EasyCSV Equations
if (contains("US", "{COLVF}") or contains("United States", "{COLVF}"), "US", "Other")
```
```EasyCSV Equations
xor, not - also available
```
--------------------------------
### Advanced Date Transformation with strptime
Source: https://easycsv.io/docs/virtual-fields
Use `transform_datetime_strptime` for more complex date parsing and formatting, where both `starting_format` and `desired_format` use strftime syntax.
```EasyCSV
transform_datetime_strptime("{COLVF}", starting_format, desired_format)
```
```EasyCSV
transform_datetime("Thu Jun 25 2026 00:00:00 GMT+0000", '%a %b %d %Y', 'Y%-%m-%d') = "2026-06-25"
```
```EasyCSV
transform_datetime("25/10/2024", '%d/%m/%Y', '%A') = "Sunday"
```
--------------------------------
### Generate CSV from Shopify Order Line Items
Source: https://easycsv.io/docs/generate-csv-files
This JavaScript code processes Shopify order data to create a CSV file. It iterates through line items, extracting details like SKU, quantity, and product name to form individual rows. Use this when you need to convert complex order structures into a flat CSV format.
```javascript
// Use this array to hold all rows
var csv_rows = [];

// Add rows for each line item in order
for (var i = 0; i < inputData.line_items_qty.split(",").length; i++) {
 // Create row data
 var row = {};
 row["ORDER_ID"] = inputData.order_num;
 row["SKU"] = inputData.line_items_sku.split(",")[i];
 row["QTY"] = inputData.line_items_qty.split(",")[i];
 row["PRODUCT_NAME"] = inputData.line_items_product_name.split(",")[i];
 row["VARIANT_NAME"] = inputData.line_items_name.split(",")[i];

 // Add row to final array
 csv_rows.push(row);
}

output = {items_array: JSON.stringify(csv_rows)};
```
--------------------------------
### Generate CSV via POST Request with URL Parameter
Source: https://easycsv.io/docs/generate-csv-files
Use this cURL command to send JSON data as a URL parameter to generate a CSV file. The 'data' parameter should contain an array of JSON objects.
```bash
curl --location --request POST 'http://www.easycsv.io/generate_csv/12345-f9ae-678-b518-a84a786374c5?data=[{%22name%22:%20%22buc%20doe%22,%22email%22:%22bucdoe@easycsv.io%22}]'
```
--------------------------------
### Date Comparison with Virtual Fields
Source: https://easycsv.io/docs/virtual-fields
Compare dates using standard comparison operators. Dates must be in YYYY-MM-DD format. Use a Virtual Field to reformat dates from your file if necessary.
```EasyCSV
{COLVF} < 2023-01-02 <- true/false
```
--------------------------------
### Date Arithmetic with Virtual Fields
Source: https://easycsv.io/docs/virtual-fields
Perform calculations on dates using the `duration` function. Dates must be in YYYY-MM-DD format. Use a Virtual Field to reformat dates from your file if necessary. You can also use `{YYYY}` or `{TODAY}` for conditional logic.
```EasyCSV
{COLVF} + duration(30, days)
```
```EasyCSV
{COLVF} + duration(2, months)
```
```EasyCSV
{COLVF} + duration(1, year)
```
```EasyCSV
{COLVF} + duration(7, days)
```
```EasyCSV
{TODAY} + duration(7, days)
```
```EasyCSV
{TOMORROW} + duration(7, days)
```
```EasyCSV
{YESTERDAY} + duration(7, days)
```
--------------------------------
### Extract String After First Space
```

--------------------------------

### Advanced String Manipulation with double_split_take

Source: https://easycsv.io/docs/virtual-fields

The `double_split_take` function is useful for splitting strings based on two delimiters, extracting a specific part, and optionally prepending/appending text before rejoining.

```EasyCSV
double_split_take("{COLVF}", 1st_split_char, 2nd_split_char, take_index, prepend_text, append_text, join_char)
```

```EasyCSV
double_split_take("{COLVF}", ",", "|", 1, "CWR | ", "", ",")
```

```EasyCSV
double_split_take("Outdoor | Accessories, Paddlesports | Accessories, Automotive/RV | Accessories", ",", "|", 1, "CWR | ", "", ",") = CWR | Outdoor,CWR | Paddlesports,CWR | Automotive/RV
```

--------------------------------

### Map Spreadsheet Columns to Bubble.io Database Fields

Source: https://easycsv.io/docs/bubble

Use this custom JSON structure in EasyCSV to map spreadsheet column headers to your Bubble.io database fields. Ensure keys exactly match Bubble.io attribute names, paying attention to case sensitivity.

```json
{
  "Firstname": "{{ FIRSTNAME }}",
  "Lastname": "{{ LASTNAME }}",
  "Grade": "{{ GRADE }}",
  "Teacher": "{{ TEACHER }}",
  "Password": "{{ PASSWORD }}",
  "School": "{{ SCHOOL }}"
}
```

```EasyCSV Equations
CASE {COLVF}
WHEN 'banana' THEN '$2.00'
WHEN 'apple' THEN '$3.00'
ELSE '$5.00'
END
```

--------------------------------

### Map CSV Columns to Caspio Fields with Custom JSON

Source: https://easycsv.io/docs/caspio

Use this JSON structure to map your CSV columns and virtual fields to your Caspio database column names. Keys are database column names, and values are the syntax for CSV columns or virtual fields.

```json
{
  "FullName":"{{ FULL_NAME }}",
  "Email":"{{ EMAIL }}",
  "PhoneNumber":"{{ PHONE }}"
}
```

--------------------------------

### Aggregate Numeric Columns
