### Attach SQLite DuckLake Catalog

Source: https://ducklake.dev

Attaches a DuckLake catalog to a SQLite database file and specifies the data path. This is useful for local development or smaller deployments.

```sql
INSTALL ducklake;
INSTALL sqlite;
ATTACH 'ducklake:sqlite:metadata.sqlite'
    AS my_ducklake (DATA_PATH 'data/');
USE my_ducklake;
```

### Attach PostgreSQL DuckLake Catalog

Source: https://ducklake.dev

Attaches a DuckLake catalog to a PostgreSQL database and specifies the data path. Ensure the PostgreSQL server is accessible and the database exists.

```sql
INSTALL ducklake;
INSTALL postgres;
ATTACH 'ducklake:postgres:dbname=ducklake_catalog host=your_postgres_host'
    AS my_ducklake (DATA_PATH 'data/');
USE my_ducklake;
```

### Attach Local DuckLake Catalog

Source: https://ducklake.dev

Attaches a DuckLake catalog stored locally using metadata.ducklake and specifies the data path. This is used when the catalog and data reside on the local filesystem.

```sql
INSTALL ducklake;
ATTACH 'ducklake:metadata.ducklake'
    AS my_ducklake
    (DATA_PATH 'data/');
USE my_ducklake;
```
