A basic example demonstrating how to construct a message and send it using the SimpleEmailService.

```php
$m = new SimpleEmailServiceMessage();
$m->addTo('Recipient Name <recipient@example.com>');
$m->setFrom('Sender <user@example.com>');
$m->setSubject('Hello, world!');
$m->setMessageFromString('This is the message body.');
$ses = new SimpleEmailService('AccessKey', 'SecretKey');
if (!$m->validate()) {
    // message incomplete — destination, from, subject, or body missing
}
```

--------------------------------

### Example Usage of Configuration and Tags

Source: https://github.com/daniel-zahariev/php-aws-ses/blob/master/_autodocs/api-reference/SimpleEmailServiceMessage.md

Demonstrates setting a configuration set, adding individual and multiple tags, retrieving a tag, and removing tags.

```php
$m->setConfigurationSet('myConfigurationSet');
$m->setMessageTag('campaign', 'summer-2024');
$m->setMessageTags(array('key1' => 'value1', 'key2' => 'value2'));
$tag = $m->getMessageTag('campaign');   // 'summer-2024'
$m->removeMessageTag('campaign');
$m->removeMessageTags();                // clear all
```

--------------------------------

### Basic Construction with Explicit Region

Source: https://github.com/daniel-zahariev/php-aws-ses/blob/master/_autodocs/api-reference/SimpleEmailService.md

Example of initializing the service with access keys and a specific AWS region.

```php
$ses = new SimpleEmailService('AccessKey', 'SecretKey', SimpleEmailService::AWS_EU_WEST_1);
```

--------------------------------

### Clear Recipients Example

Example of using clearRecipients to reset all recipient lists at once.

```php
$m->clearRecipients();  // clears To, CC, BCC, and Reply-To in one go
```

--------------------------------

### Adding Recipients Example

Source: https://github.com/daniel-zahariev/php-aws-ses/blob/master/_autodocs/api-reference/SimpleEmailServiceMessage.md

Examples of adding single addresses or arrays of addresses to the message recipient lists.

```php
$m->addTo('dwight@example.com');
$m->addTo(array('angela@example.com', 'pam@example.com'));
$m->addCC('holly@example.com');
$m->addBCC(array('kevin@example.com', 'oscar@example.com'));
$m->addReplyTo('andy@example.com');
$m->addReplyTo(array('stanley@example.com', 'erin@example.com'));
```

--------------------------------

### Configuring $curlOptions

Source: https://github.com/daniel-zahariev/php-aws-ses/blob/master/_autodocs/api-reference/SimpleEmailServiceRequest.md

Example of setting process-wide cURL options. This affects all instances created after the assignment.

```php
SimpleEmailServiceRequest::$curlOptions = [
    CURLOPT_TIMEOUT => 30,
    CURLOPT_PROXY   => 'http://proxy.internal:8080',
];
```

--------------------------------

### Initialize SimpleEmailServiceMessage with defaults

Source: https://github.com/daniel-zahariev/php-aws-ses/blob/master/_autodocs/api-reference/SimpleEmailServiceMessage.md

```php
$m = new SimpleEmailServiceMessage();  // everything at defaults
```

--------------------------------

### getRawMessage usage examples

Source: https://github.com/daniel-zahariev/php-aws-ses/blob/master/_autodocs/api-reference/SimpleEmailServiceMessage.md

Examples showing how to retrieve the unencoded MIME string or the base64-encoded payload for SendRawEmail.

```php
$raw = $m->getRawMessage(false);       // inspect unencoded MIME
$payload = $m->getRawMessage();        // base64 payload for SendRawEmail
```

--------------------------------

Example showing how to delete a verified email address and handle potential errors.

```php
$result = $ses->deleteVerifiedEmailAddress('user@example.com');
if ($result === false) { /* error already reported per trigger policy */ }
```

--------------------------------

### Raw request and error handling example

Source: https://github.com/daniel-zahariev/php-aws-ses/blob/master/_autodocs/api-reference/SimpleEmailService.md

Demonstrates forcing a raw request and suppressing PHP warnings to inspect the raw response object directly.

```php
// Force SendRawEmail and suppress the PHP warning for this call;
// the raw response object is returned instead of false.
$response = $ses->sendEmail($m, true /* use_raw_request */, false /* trigger_error */);
if ($response === false) {
    // validation failed
} elseif (isset($response->error) && $response->error !== false) {
    // transport/AWS error, e.g. $response->error['Error']['Message']
} else {
    $messageId = $response['MessageId'];
}
```

--------------------------------

### getHost

```php
$ses = new SimpleEmailService('AccessKey', 'SecretKey',
    SimpleEmailService::AWS_US_EAST_1,   // host
    false,                               // trigger_errors: return false instead of warning
    SimpleEmailService::REQUEST_SIGNATURE_V4);
```

--------------------------------

### GET https://<host>/?Action=GetSendQuota

Source: https://github.com/daniel-zahariev/php-aws-ses/blob/master/_autodocs/endpoints.md

### HTTP Method
GET

### Endpoint
https://<host>/?Action=GetSendQuota

### Parameters
#### Query Parameters

### Response
#### Success Response (200)
- **Max24HourSend** (number) - The maximum number of emails the user can send in a 24-hour period.

--------------------------------

### Strict comparison for other actions like getSendQuota

Source: https://github.com/daniel-zahariev/php-aws-ses/blob/master/_autodocs/errors.md

Other actions return false on error, so a strict comparison suffices. This example checks the result of getSendQuota and prints the number of emails sent in the last 24 hours if successful.

```php
$quota = $ses->getSendQuota();
if ($quota === false) {
    // error reported (or suppressed) — no useful data
} else {
    printf("%s sent in last 24h\n", $quota['SentLast24Hours']);
$ses->sendEmail($m);
// Sending raw email can be enforsed with:
$ses->sendEmail($m, $use_raw_request = true);
// Now you can add an inline file in the message
$m->addAttachmentFromFile('logo.png','path/to/logo.png','application/octet-stream', '<logo.png>' , 'inline');
### Setting Message Body and Encoding
Source: https://github.com/daniel-zahariev/php-aws-ses/blob/master/README.md
Configure email content from strings, files, or URLs, and set character encoding.
```php
<?php

// Additionally you can set the content of the email via:
$m->setMessageFromFile('/path/to/some/file.txt');
$m->setMessageFromURL('http://example.com/somefile.txt');

// And have both Text and HTML version with:
$m->setMessageFromString($text, $html);
$m->setMessageFromFile($textfilepath, $htmlfilepath);
$m->setMessageFromURL($texturl, $htmlurl);

// Remember that setMessageFromString, setMessageFromFile, and setMessageFromURL are mutually exclusive.
// If you call more than one, then whichever call you make last will be the message used.

// You can also set the encoding of the Subject and the Message Body
$m->setSubjectCharset('ISO-8859-1');
$m->setMessageCharset('ISO-8859-1');
